The TV mogul, Oprah Winfrey is continuing to support those in need amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic in The USA that has been hit hard by the pandemic.## After donating $12 million to COVID-19 relief efforts previously in her "home cities" of Chicago, Nashville, Milwaukee, Kosciusko, and Mississippi, The Oprah Winfrey Charitable Foundation (OWCF) has donated additional $3 million to COVID-19 relief efforts in South Los Angeles, California.## The donation was presented to South LA Forward, a newly created coalition of three Los Angeles based grassroots organizations: SoLa I Can Foundation, SEE-LA, and the Watts Healthcare Corporation.## South LA Forward was established with the mission of committing to providing 200 tons of fresh food to feed 80,000 Angelenos and providing 200 scholarships to those who have lost their jobs due to the pandemic. South LA Forward also aims to expand COVID-19 testing and primary care for South Los Angeles residents. ## Winfrey said in a statement: "As I continue to seek out ways to support underserved communities, I was struck by the unique multi-layered approach to effect real change to the systematic barriers of access to healthy food, quality health care, and educational opportunities", as stated by the People.com.## The United States of America is the worst-hit country by the COVID-19 pandemic. Newton actor Rajkummar Rao has been roped in the Hindi remake of Telugu film investigative thriller Hit which starred Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma in the leading roles, its makers announced on Wednesday. Director Ali Abbas Zafar is planning to make a film based on the 1984 anti-Sikh riots that occurred after the assassination of the Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and is in talks with Diljit Dosanjh who, Ali thinks, is the best option for the film. ## According to some reports, Ali Abbas Zafar was always wanted to make a film on the 1984 riots and was searching for the right script which he has found now. For the script work, he will reportedly be involved in it apart from producing the film. ## The reports have also suggested that Ali and his team think that Diljit Dosanjh will be the right actor for the film and for that, they are in continuous talk with him. However, the makers will take the final call in a few months but Diljit has reportedly agreed to do the movie which may begin after the situation become normal from COVID-19## Interestingly, Diljit Dosanjh has already worked in a Punjabi film based on the riots 'Punjab 1984' that was directed by Anurag Singh. Former team India captain and current BCCI president, Sourav Ganguly is hopeful that Virat Kohli & Co. can repeat the 2018 success in Australia when the two most powerful teams will face each other later this year in the highly anticipated Test series. ## When India toured Australia previously in 2018, the Virat Kohli led side created history by winning the Test series down under for the first time. However, Ganguly expects a tougher challenge this time for Team India to repeat the same kind of success as Australia will be boosted by David Warner and Steve Smith's presence who were missing on the previous tour due to their suspensions. ## Speaking to India Today, the BCCI president said, "It is going to be a tough series. It is not going to be what it was two years back. It is going to be a strong Australia but our team is as good. We have the batting, we have the bowling. We just need to bat better. You know the best team overseas bat well. When we were so successful in England, in Australia, in Pakistan we were getting 400-500-600 in Test matches. I said that to Virat as well."## "Because you are Virat Kohli, your standards are high," he pointed out. "When you walk out to play when you walk out with your team, I don't expect you to just play well against Australia, I expect you to win. So you have to live up to the standards. For his captaincy tenure, this will be a milestone series - more than the World Cup". ## Ganguly also revealed that he has been communicating with the Indian skipper Virat Kohli on the need to stay fit with the players not having played since early March due to COVID-19.## "I have been in touch with him, telling him, 'you have got to stay fit.
