Disha Patani To Reunite With Tiger Shroff In Director Jagan Shakti's Film

Mumbai, October 28 - Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani shared screen space in "Baaghi 2" in 2018 and the pair was appreciated by the audiences. Now, according to the latest reports, the sizzling duo are all set to reunite for director Jagan Shakti's film. ## Tiger and Disha are reuniting for this action thriller film, reportedly titled "Hero No. 1". The reports say that Disha has replaced Sara Ali Khan who has opted out from the movie due to date issues. The shoot of the movie has already commenced and it is being produced by Pooja Entertainment. ## "Hero No. 1" is Jagan Shakti's second directorial movie, after Akshay Kumar-led "Mission Mangal" (2019). The upcoming movie is said to be a high-octane action entertainer. This marks the first time collaboration between the director and the lead pair. ## Disha Patani, meanwhile, will next be seen in the aerial action thriller "Yodha", co-starring Sidharth Malhotra and Raashii Khanna. The film is scheduled to be released on December 8 this year. Apart from this, Disha has two big Pan India blockbusters, Prabhas-fronted "Kalki 2898 AD", and Suriya-led "Kanguva", scheduled to release next year. ## Tiger Shroff, on the other hand, was last seen in "Ganapath" which is currently playing in theatres. Mumbai, October 27 - Excel Entertainment's comedy entertainer Fukrey 3 will fall short of the 100 crores net box office mark after the promising start. However, the movie has done its job and performed much better than what the trade was expecting before the release. ## Directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba, the third instalment of the hit franchise has completed 4 weeks in theatres since its release on September 28. The movie has scored approximately 95.25 crores net and will likely score another 50 lakhs more to finish around 96 crores final net collection.## "Fukrey 3" opened to a decent collection before putting in a good opening week of 66 crores. At that time, it looked like it would reach 100 crore net but to competition with new releases and the mixed word of mouth, the movie failed to carry the same momentum into the next weeks. ## Despite not being able to enter the coveted 100 crores net club, "Fukrey 3" is a box office hit and maintains the 100% success ratio of the franchise. It also emerged as the highest net-grosser movie of the franchise, topping its predecessor "Fukrey Returns" which minted approximately 80 crores net. ## At the worldwide box office, the movie has earned approximately 127 crores gross, including an estimated 14.50 crores overseas collection. Box Office: Ganapath and Yaariyan 2 First Week Collection

Mumbai, October 27 - Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon's sci-fi actioner Ganapath - A Hero Is Born completes its first week with a no-so-great-looking box office collection. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film was expected to have, at least, a decent success but failed miserably without putting any challenges. ## "Ganapath" took the opening of just 2.50 crores net, and due to poor reviews, it failed to grow over the week and scored approximately 11.80 crores net collection in the first week. It is the lowest first-week collection ever for Tiger Shroff. ## There is not much to say about the film's box office performance as the numbers speak for themselves. Tiger was hoping to make a strong comeback with this movie but now, it should be a wake call for him to pick the right subject. The lifetime collection of the film is heading for below 15 crores net which is disastrous. ## Yaariyan 2, which was released on the same day as Ganapath, met the same fate with the below-par first-week collection. Unlike Ganapath, there were hardly any expectations from this romantic drama film, but even by that standard, the collection is really poor because "Yaariyan 2" is a sequel to a hit film. ## Directed by Radhika Rao, and Vinay Sapru, "Yaariyan 2" scored just 2.75 crores net collection in its first week and the lifetime is heading towards finishing below 5 crores. Both movies combined collected just approximately 8.50 crores net which was lower than Thalapathy Vijay's "Leo" Hindi collection of approximately 9.50 crores during the same weekend. ## While new films couldn't do much, the holdover movies too are running out of gas. Akshay Kumar's Mission Raniganj, which had an underwhelming first two weeks, scored approx. 1.20 crore net collection in its 3rd weekend. The film's total collection stands at 31.20 crores net after 17 days. The overall collection of "Mission Raniganj" is low, and the final collection is heading for under 35 crores net. ## Fukrey 3 is still keeping its hope alive to touch the 100 crores net mark though the chances are very slim for the same. The comic entertainer was the second-best performer among the holdover films and collected approximately 90 lakh net in its 4th weekend. The total net collection of the movie has reached around 94.25 crores after 25 days and heading towards finishing around 97 crores net collection. ## Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's mega-blockbuster Jawan is still collecting despite being in its 7th week. Atlee Kumar's directorial action drama flick is already the highest-grossing Indian movie of the year as well as the biggest Bollywood grosser of all time domestically. In its 7th weekend, "Jawan" scored approx. 80 lakh net, pushing the total collection to 580.90 crores in the original Hindi version. Mumbai, October 23 - It was a dull weekend for Bollywood after new releases died down without even putting a challenge. It has been a kind of year for the industry which has witnessed either highway or noway at the box office, and the just concluded weekend proved to be a latter one. ## Pooja Entertainment's ambitious sci-fi action drama Ganapath: A Hero Is Born, starring Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon, looked promising before the release and had some hope as far as the box office was concerned, but it completely rejected by the audiences once it hit the big screens. ## Directed by Vikas Bahl, "Ganapath" scored the lowest opening weekend ever for Tiger Shroff after it minted just approximately 7 crores net collection in 3 days. The movie got a poor reception from critics and the audiences, and that is where the fate of the movie was sealed. The movie is heading towards finishing below the 15 crores mark, becoming one of the biggest disasters for Tiger and Kriti, who debuted together in 2014 with the hit "Heropanti". ## The second movie of the weekend, Yaariyan 2, directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, also failed to repeat the first movie's success and had a poor opening weekend with just approximately 1.50 crores net in the first 3-day weekend. Indian Box Office Attracts 6+ Million Footfalls On National Cinema Day 2023

Mumbai, October 14 - The Multiplex Association Of India (MAI) said in a statement that National Cinema Day 2023 attracted an estimated 6+ million (60+ lakh) footfalls at the Indian box office on October 13. The second NCD received a big thumbs-up from moviegoers on over 4000 screens nationwide. ## The National Cinema Day 2022 scored 6.5 million (65 lakh) footfalls and was a massive success after the COVID-19 pandemic. Last year, the ticket prices were kept as low as Rs. 75 for NCD while this year the prices were increased to Rs. 99 per ticket for this particular day.## The participating theatre chains on NCD 2023, included PVRINOX, Cinepolis, Miraj, Mukta A2, Movie Time, Wave, M2K, MovieMax, Rajhans, NY Cinemas, and Delite, among many others which offered movie ticket prices for Rs. 99 for the whole day and for any movie.## The biggest gainers on NCD 2023 were Shah Rukh Khan's mega-blockbuster "Jawan", Akshay Kumar's "Mission Raniganj", Excel Entertainment's comic caper "Fukrey 3", Telugu comedy "Mad", and Mammootty's "Kannur Squad", among others.
