WWE SmackDown 10/7 Results: Max Dupri Reverting Back To His LA Knight Name

LA Knight has returned to his NXT Name, apparently calling it off with the Max Dupri character. ## L. A. Knight made his first main roster appearance on the January 24, 2022 episode of Raw, where he participated in a backstage segment with The Dirty Dawgs (Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode. ## Later, Knight appeared as a villainous manager by announcing his new stable, named "Knight Model Management", and became the manager of Mace and Mansoor. ## However, Dupri would end his relationship with Maximum Male Models on the September 30, 2022 episode of SmackDown. The Max Dupri character was dropped and Ricker would revert to his L. A. Knight character on October 3, 2022. ## PWInsider.com recently confirmed that Dupri will be reverting back to his LA Knight name that was used in NXT. Maximum Male Models were laid out on Friday's SmackDown, with Knight standing with a chair above them. Maxxine Dupri confronts Knight, calling him Max. Knight stated that it was not his name and that he referred to himself as L.A. Knight, running to end the segment.
