Mumbai, November 13 - Tamil star Dhanush and actress Kriti Sanon team up for the first time in director Anand L Rai's romantic drama Tere Ishq Mein. The film is gearing up for its release on November 28, and ahead of its big screen debut, the makers are keeping the buzz high with their music album. On Thursday (November 13), the makers unveiled a new song, titled Deewana Deewana. The soulful song was released in the form of audio without any video glimpse. The song is sung and composed by A. R. Rahman from the lyrics by Irshad Kamil. It was released on the T-Series YouTube channel. Chennai, November 13 - Actor Dulquer Salmaan's period drama thriller Kaantha is creating a strong buzz ahead of its November 14 release worldwide. Also starring Bhagyashri Borse, Samuthirakani, and Rana Daggubati, the film had its premiere on November 12 in Chennai for media and critics, and the early reactions are highly positive. Set in the 1950s, in Madras, the film revolves around the legendary director in Tamil, Ayya, and his strained relationship with T. K. Mahadevan, a film star he helped establish and popularise. When Mahadevan renames a female-focused film production that was previously called "Shaantha" to suit his own image, to "Kaantha", the story takes a different direction. Mumbai, November 13: Ajay Devgn's much-awaited romantic comedy De De Pyaar De 2 is all set to arrive in cinemas this Friday, aiming to recreate the charm of its 2019 predecessor, which became a box office hit with a worldwide collection of around 150 crores. Directed by Anshul Sharma, the sequel marks Ajay Devgn's return to the romantic comedy space after a gap, pairing him once again with Rakul Preet Singh, and R. Madhavan joins the cast in a key role, among others. The film has been certified U/A by the CBFC with an approved runtime of 2 hours and 27 minutes, making it a family-friendly entertainer targeted at multiplex audiences. De De Pyaar De 2 buzz has been a mixed bag. After a widely appreciated trailer, the makers failed to build the buzz, which now seems to be hit and miss. The advance booking, which opened a couple of days before the release, has been lukewarm but did witness some momentum on the last day. The franchise fatigue, however, is real, and that might overpower the overall franchise value if reviews are not favourable. Considering these factors, DDPD2 is expected to open in the range of 8-10 crores net. It is believed and also suggested by the pre-sales trend that the movie's overall box office performance will heavily depend on word of mouth, especially given its genre and target audience. The original DDPD took in 10.40 crores net (including previews), and if the reviews are extremely positive, the sequel might challenge this opening start. One of the big positives for De De Pyaar De 2 is the limited competition at the box office this weekend. With no major releases lined up, the film has a clear run and could benefit from family crowds and walk-in audiences, particularly in urban centres. According to the latest report by Bollywood Hungama, Aamir and Hirani have decided to shelve the project and will instead take on another film. It is said that the duo is not happy with the script and has decided to put it on hold. "Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani are both known for their perfection. However, they were not satisfied with the script for the Dadasaheb Phalke biopic. Aamir felt it was too dry for today's audiences and lacked the humour typically expected from their pair. The Indore-born singer has won the honour for her incredible charitable work of funding heart surgeries for underprivileged children. The 33-year-old has funded over 3800 heart surgeries for underprivileged children across India and beyond through her Palak Palash Charitable Foundation. She has been doing this charity since a very young age. In a recent interview, she shared that she has funded 3803 surgeries till now, and it has been 25 years since she started doing that. As a child, Palak encountered underprivileged children on a train journey – a moment that changed her life's course. She made a quiet promise to herself that day - "I will help them someday."
