Mirai 2 Days Box Office: Teja Sajja Delivers Big Again

Hyderabad, September 14 – After the monumental success of HanuMan last year, many debated if actor Teja Sajja could deliver the same success again, as trade believed that the success of HanuMan was associated with its theme, which is rooted in Indian history. The young, unbothered about the chatter, started working on his next film Mirai silently, and putting all the debates to rest, the film has opened to a huge collection at the worldwide box office. The sci-fi action entertainer, directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni, has resonated with audiences across the Telugu states and beyond. Backed by strong pre-release buzz and positive word of mouth, Mirai witnessed a fantastic opening of around 23.50 crores worldwide, which is the biggest for Teja Sajja, with packed shows in major centres. As per early estimates, the film has minted over 24 crores gross worldwide on day 2, pushing the 2-day total to over 47 crores, which is an excellent collection for the talent involved. The film's youthful concept, high-quality visuals, and engaging action sequences have made it a hot favourite among younger audiences, while family crowds, too, are turning up in large numbers to experience the divine touch of it. With two back-to-back box office successes, Teja Sajja is rapidly rising as one of Tollywood's most bankable young stars. While many people will still associate Mirai's success with its theme, which is similar to Hanuman's, Teja Sajja's ability to blend unique scripts with commercial appeal should be applauded. The actor's script selection has not only won him a loyal fan following but also positioned him as a promising force in the industry.
