Hyderabad, July 15, 2021: Last month, the Telangana government had removed all Covid-19 lockdown restrictions, paving the way for theatres to re-open. The Andhra Pradesh Government also has permitted theatres to reopen with 50% seating capacity. ## As the theaters are waiting for films to release on the big screens, the top producers and distributors of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have been meeting on a regular basis to discuss the further course of film releases in Telugu states. While a few films have already opted for direct-to-digital release, the movies such as Love Story, Tuck Jagadish, Most Eligible Bachelor, Seetimaar, among others gearing up for a theatrical release. ## Recently, Satyadev's Thimmarasu was announced for the July 30th release in theaters, becoming the first theatrical release announcement post the second covid-19 wave. Now, as per the latest development, Nani's "Tuck Jagadish" will be the first big-ticket Telugu movie to hit screens. The makers have reportadly finalized the July 30 release on a record number of screens. ## Tuck Jagadish, directed by Shiva Nirvana and produced by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi, is an action-masala film. Apart from Nani, the movie also stars Ritu Varma, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Jagapathi Babu in prominent roles while the music is composed by S. Thaman. ## On the other hand, Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi starrer romantic drama film, Love Story, is also gearing up for August 13th release in theaters. Love Story is written and directed by National award-winning, Sekhar Kammula, and produced by Amigos Creations and Sree Venkateswara Cinemas. ## The official announcement regarding Tuck Jagadish and Love Story is expected to come out soon. The Bombay High Court has directed streaming platform Amazon Prime Video to take down the Telugu movie "V" starring Nani. Model and actor Sakshi Malik filed a defamation suit against Venkateshwara Creations for allegedly using her photograph without permission in their movie. Malik's advocate Saveena Bedi said the scene showed Malik's photograph, referring to her as a commercial sex worker.## "Simply using another's image, and most especially a private image, without consent is prima facie impermissible, unlawful, and entirely illegal. In a given case, it may also be defamatory, depending on the type of use", the court said in its order. The order copy was made available on Wednesday according to Gadgets 360.## "The fact that the image has been illicitly used is bad enough. It only makes matters worse when used in a plainly derogatory and demeaning vein", Justice Patel said.## The court directed Amazon Prime Video to take down the movie within 24 hours until the said scene is deleted. "It is not acceptable for them (movie's makers) to merely pixelate or blur the images. The entire sequence, which has the image of the plaintiff (Malik), is to be removed immediately", Justice Patel said.## Bedi argued that Malik's photo was used illicitly by the defendant in a Telugu movie titled 'V' that was released on Amazon on September 5, 2020. As per Malik's suit, she had commissioned a photographer in 2017 for creating a portfolio.## "In August 2017, she (Malik) posted some photographs from the portfolio on her Instagram account. One of these photos was used in a scene of the Telugu movie where there is a reference to a commercial sex worker", Bedi said.## Talking about the movie "V", it is an action thriller directed by Mohana Krishna Indraganti and produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. The movie stars Nani, Sudheer Babu, Nivetha Thomas, and Aditi Rao Hydari in lead roles along with Vennela Kishore and Tanikella Bharani in supporting roles. Telugu superstar, Jersey fame, Nani is feeling honored that his movies are being remade and happy with the fact that his work is being praised in the Hindi film industry. ## The superstar also believes that since the Hindi remake of his hit Telugu movie Jersey star Shahid Kapoor, the movie will reach the bigger audience. ## "The fact that my films are being remade itself is a compliment that they like my work. One of the most-awaited Telugu movies, "V" starring Nani was recently announced for the OTT release. The coronavirus pandemic has had a lasting impact on the movie as it ditched the conventional theatrical release and will now stream on Amazon Prime Video from September 5. ## Talking about the movie, the Telugu biggie was shot across the five Indian states including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, and Maharashtra along with Thailand, making it quite a challenge for the makers. ## "The film was shot in five states and one international location. Our intent was to create a consistent visual experience and color palette for our viewers, generally, you will see inconsistencies in the color palette. From night to day shots we wanted the entire grid to be consistent", director Mohana Krishna said to IANS.## "We, therefore, took a lot of care in the costume designing, in production design, the kind of clothes we want to avoid, the kind of colors we want to avoid, and it had to match with completely different locations".## "Goa is completely warm, and Mumbai is both humid and warm, and Thailand is tropical while Manali which is extremely cold, across these many locations and climates, we wanted to create a visually seamless experience for our viewers", he added. ## It is Nani's 25th film as an actor, in which he plays an antagonist for the first time in his career.
