Border 2 Box Office Collection: Film Maintains Steady Hold in Week 6; Earns 1.43 Crore

Sunny Deol's war drama Border 2 has completed its 42-day theatrical run, cementing its position as one of the year’s most successful releases. As of the end of its sixth week, the film has amassed a massive India Net collection of ₹328.33 crore. The film, which opened with a historic first week, has maintained a steady presence in theaters, benefiting from its strong patriotic appeal and a lack of major competition in the late-stage weeks. On the global stage, Border 2 has demonstrated significant reach, particularly in traditional markets. The film's worldwide collection now stands at ₹448.9 crore, supported by an overseas contribution of ₹57.25 crore. In the domestic market, the India Gross collection has reached ₹391.65 crore, reflecting the film's consistent performance across single screens and multiplexes alike. The film's box office trajectory followed a high-opening pattern, with a dominant first week of ₹224.25 crore. While the collections naturally tapered off, the film showed notable resilience in its second and third weeks, earning ₹70.15 crore and ₹23.35 crore respectively. By the sixth week, the film added a crucial ₹1.43 crore, taking the total net collection past the ₹328 crore milestone. Directed by newcomer Balaji Ganesh, the film marks the return of National Award-winning actress Jyotika to Hindi cinema in a lead role, alongside Vijay Varma, who portrays the primary antagonist. The project is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidwani's Excel Entertainment in collaboration with A.R. Murugadoss. Production for the action thriller began on February 27 in Mumbai and is scheduled to wrap by July 2026, with the makers targeting a theatrical release in early 2027.
