Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) is a school board based in Mohali, Chandigarh, India. ## It was founded in 1969 under a legislative act of the Government of Punjab to administer the curriculum taught in public schools in the Punjab state and conduct standardized examinations in addition to conducting administration of scholarships, and publishing of textbooks. ## The headquarters of the Board are located in SAS Nagar (Mohali), near Chandigarh. ## The Board is headed by a full-time Chairman whose term lasts three years and who technically reports to the Secretary of School Education in the Government of Punjab. ## The current Education Secretary is Mr. Krishan Kumar. ## He is sincerely committed to shape the education system of punjab by his pionnering Initiatives like 'Padho Punjab' . ## Exam Name: PSEB Class 12TH Exam ## Result Date: May 13, 2019 ## Total Appeared Students: Around 3.5 Lakh ## Pass Percentage: 86.41% ## Pass percentage of girls: 90.86% ## Pass percentage of boys: 82.83% ## Stream-wise pass percentage: ## Commerce stream: 90.37, Humanities: 86.40, Science stream: 83.44, Vocational: 89.28% ## Pass percentage (Rural Area): 86.94% ## Pass percentage (Urban Area): 85.73% ## Three students topped the exam with 98.89%, they secured 445 marks out of 450. ## Name of the toppers mentioned below: Sarbjot Singh (Commerce) 98.89% ## Aman (Arts) 98.89% ## Muskan Soni (Science) 98.89% ## Students can check the Punjab board Class 12th result on the official website pseb.ac.in. ## For more information about latest exam results, stay tuned to us !!
