Salman Khan Pays Tribute To Music Composer Raamlaxman Who Dies At 78

Mumbai, May 22, 2021: Salman Khan paid tribute to the famous music composer, Raamlaxman who passed away in the early hours of Saturday due to a heart attack at his residence in Nagpur. Aged 78, Raamlaxman, also known as Vijay Patil, composed music of some of the most successful films of Salman, such as Maine Pyaar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Patthar Ke Phool, among others. ## Salman took to Twitter and offers condolences to the bereaved family. "Ram Laxman, music director of my successful films like maine pyaar kiya, patthar ke phool, hum saath saath hain, hum apke hain kaun has sadly passed away. May his soul rest in peace. Condolences to the bereaved family.— Salman Khan (@BeingSalmanKhan) May 22, 2021 ## Raam Laxman's son Amar told indianexpress.com that his father died due to a heart attack, adding that he had got the second jab of Covid-19 vaccine a few days ago, following which he was feeling very weak and fatigued, and a doctor was treating him for that. ## Born as Vijay Patil, he was Laxman of the Raam Laxman duo. His partner Surendra, Raam of the duo, passed away in 1976 soon after they signed the film Agent Vinod. Vijay continued to use his partnerβs name in his creations nevertheless to honor his memory.## In the year 1988, Raamlaxman got a major break with Sooraj Barjatya's Maine Pyar Kiya (1989) starring Salman Khan and Bhagyashree in their acting debut. His composition earned him Filmfare Award for Best Music Director. Later, he composed music for 100 Days, Pyar Ka Tarana, Prem Shakti, Hum Saath Saath Hain, among others. ## Stay tuned...
