Chennai, May 6 - Aranmanai 4 scored a very good opening weekend at the domestic box office with superb occupancy across Tamil Nadu state which saw it crossing the lifetime domestic total of Lal Salaam in which superstar Rajinikanth played the extended role. ## Directed by Sundar C, the horror comedy minted approximately 22 crores gross in India, including 20 crores in Tamil and 2 crores in Telugu in the first three-day weekend. Lal Salaam had grossed approximately 21 crores in its entire run. In Tamil Nadu, the movie has minted approximately 18.25 crores gross.## The opening weekend of 22 crores of Aranmanai 4 is the second biggest for a Tamil movie domestically, behind only Dhanush's Captain Miller which grossed approximately 27.60 crores in the first 3 days. With this, it has become the third highest-grossing Tamil movie of 2024 in India in its original run. ## The film is the fourth installment in the Aranmanai film series which kicked off in 2014. Hyderabad, Dec 29 (IANS) Cinematographer P.C. Sreeram has posted pictures from the sets of the much-anticipated film 'Thank You: The Movie' featuring Naga Chaitanya. ## Sreeram took to Twitter to share a few glimpses from the sets of 'Thank You'. ## Tagging the actors of 'Thank You', the Director of Photography wrote, "On to its next phase of the shoot." ## Naga Chaitanya's pictures feature him in a jersey, and the backdrop appears like it is a sports field which suggests Chaitanya is to play a sportsman in the movie. ## One of the pictures has Chaitanya in the dressing room, where he is seen along with his friend, sorting his sports gear. ## Helmed by 'Manam', '24', and 'Gang Leader' director Vikram Kumar, 'Thank You: The Movie' is one of the most awaited films of Naga Chaitanya. ## The shooting of the movie began in December 2020 and is expected to be wrapped up in the coming months. ## Actress Rashi Khanna plays the love interest of Naga Chaitanya. ## Chaitanya is to share the screen alongside his father Nagarjuna in the movie 'Bangarraju', apart from 'Thank You'. ##

The second shooting schedule of Raj and DK's upcoming thriller series for Amazon Prime Video has commenced in Goa. The series stars Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupati, and Raashii Khanna in the prominant roles. While Raashi has already shared screen space with Sethupathi in Sangathamizhan, and Tughlaq Durbar it is the first time actress will star with Shahid. ## Excited to shoot with the filmmaker duo for this series featuring the two stars, Raashi said, "Shooting for this one-of-a-kind thriller has been an absolute joyride, and diving into a fresh schedule is going to be very exciting for me. The experience of being directed by Raj and DK is fantastic, and with stars such as Shahid and Vijay, I am always on my toes".## Titled "Sunny", the web show is said to be a two-part series in which Shahid is in the titular role while Vijay Sethupathi has reportedly been signed to play the villain. Raashi's role is yet to be known. This web series marks the third collaboration between Raj & DK and Amazon Prime Video after their two seasons of Manoj Bajpayee-fronted The Family Man with the second season set to premiere on February 12. ## Apart from the web series, Rashi Khanna has a series of films in the pipeline.
