PWInsider reported earlier that Strowman is scheduled to be at Monday’s WWE Raw taping on September 5. ## At Wrestlemania Backlash, Strowman failed to win the title from Lashley in a triple threat match also involving McIntyre. This would turn out to be his final match for the company as he was released on June 2, 2021. ## Strowman's return to WWE came out during a Fatal Four-Way Number One Contender's Match between New Day, Alpha Academy, Los Lothorios, Street Profits. ## Suddenly, Braun Strowman's music hit to a huge pop. The referees jumped out of the ring but didn't signal for the bell. Strowman destroyed all eight guys in the match. He even beat down security. A steel cage match for the United States Championship is scheduled for WWE Monday Night Raw.## The match was established on social media when The Miz issued a challenge to United States Champion Bobby Lashley. Miz said he would have won last Monday if Dexter Lumis hadn't shown up. The Miz said that he would make the title relevant and that he wanted it to be bigger than all WWE titles.## Lashley took to Twitter to lash out at The Miz, saying that the way to maintain the credibility of the title is to keep it away from people like The Miz and this is my resposibility.## Lumis has been joining The Miz matches lately, so a steel cage match could officially be the catalyst for him to move the angle.
