After suffering a separated shoulder at SummerSlam, Becky Lynch’s injury was further exacerbated after an attack from Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY earlier tonight on WWE Raw. ## Per the announcement from WWE, As a result of the assault, Becky Lynch is expected to be out for several months. ## It was reported earlier that Becky Lynch’s shoulder was injured during her match against Bianca Belair at the 2022 Summerslam PLE. Fightful Select also reported that it has been confirmed that Becky sustained a separated shoulder and worked through most of the match with the injury. Becky is expected to miss ring time but it’s unknown how long she will be out of action. ## An injury angle took place on WWE RAW when Bayley’s faction attacked Becky backstage. WWE announced the following. On the final Raw before SummerSlam, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion The Usos overcame The Street Profits and Riddle, Rey Mysterio suffered a massive backstage assault at the hands of The Judgment Day during his Anniversary Celebration, Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair engaged in an out-of-control brawl with Becky Lynch and so much more. ## Roman Reigns, the Usos and Paul Heyman entering to officially kick things off at Madison Square Garden. They received a big mixed reaction including chants for Roman. Reigns told MSG to acknowledge him. They did. Reigns said he didn’t feel like talking anymore so he handed the microphone over to Heyman. ## The mic cut out as Reigns spoke and again as Heyman spoke. Heyman said they must have a sound guy from New Jersey. Heyman said, “We want your name written down, you’re the next one out the door." Heyman said Sunday would mark 700 days of Reigns as the champion but he knew that Brock Lesnar wanted to end Reigns’ party. Heyman noted that Lesnar ended Randy Couture when he was on top, ended Undertaker’s streak, and took John Cena to Suplex City when he was at his peak. ## Heyman mentioned notable streaks in sports, whether it be the Red Sox vs. Yankees or The Rock vs. Stone Cold. However, you wouldn’t think about Lesnar alongside Reigns’ name anymore after Saturday. It was time for Lesnar to go back to Saskatchewan to slaughter hogs. In their final match against each other, Reigns would finally rid himself of Lesnar. The crowd chanted “Suplex City.” ## Theory interrupted. He repeated his plan for SummerSlam again. Reigns told him to step in the ring and acknowledge his Tribal Chief. Theory was defensive as he entered the ring. ## Reigns told Theory that he had no idea what to do with the briefcase so he offered him some advice. Riddle tags in and he kicks Jay in the middle and punches him. ## Riddle with more kicks in the corner. Jimmy tries to join in but Riddle falls down and Jimmy falls to the floor. Ford tags in and hits a flip dive. ## --Commercial Break-- ## Back from the commercial break...The offense is going on ## A belly-to-back suplex from Jey to Riddle. The Crowd looks hyped because Roman Reigns tags in now. Roman sends Riddle to the turnbuckle. Roman with a suplex to a near fall. Jey tags in. Jey goes for a Splash in the corner, but misses it. Ford tags in and he hits Jey and Ford leaps over Jey and punches Jimmy. Ford with a belly-to-back suplex to Jey but Roman with a Urnage. ## Jimmy tags in and he cuts to Ford while Roman grabs Ford. Ford is busted open under his eys. The referee stopped Jimmy. Jimmy for a near fall with punches and a diving head butt. Jimmy with a back breaker and Jimmy with a forelock from the turnbuckle for a near fall. ## --Commercial Break-- ## Ford is choked in the ropes. Roman with a Drive By to Ford. Riddle tags in and so does Jimmy. Riddle with a Pele kick to Jimmy. Riddle with a knee to Jay and an explosive one to Jimmy. Riddle with an explosive for J and then Jimmy and J are sent back. Riddle with an IEDDT set up but Jey saves. ## Riddle with a twisting Asai Moonsault on Jimmy and Jay. Roman blinds tag and riddles Jay with a power slam. Roman with a Superman Punch, but doesn't get the cover. ## Jey and Jimmy with a suicide dive for Ford. Roman sends Dawkins to the announce table and ring steps. Roman gets on the apron.
