Director and producer Karan Johar has issued a statement after two members from his household staff tested positive with the coronavirus. He said in the statement that the rest of his family and staff are doing well at the moment and showing no symptoms. He also ensured that the best treatment will be provided to infected people. ## In the statement, he wrote, "I'd like to inform you that 2 members of our household staff have tested positive for Covid-19. As soon as symptoms were detected, they were put under quarantine in a section of our building. The BMC was informed immediately, the building has been fumigated and sterilised by them as per norms". ## "The rest of us in the family and staff are all safe and display no symptoms. We have all taken the swab test this morning and have tested all negative, but will remain in self-isolation for the next 14 days for the safety of everyone around us. We stand by our commitment to safeguard everyone and have ensured that all measures prescribed by the authorities have been strictly adhered to".## "We will also ensure that the best treatment and care is provided to them during the illness, and we're sure that they will be fighting fit soon!".## "These are difficult times but staying at our homes and taking the right precautions, there is no doubt in my mind that we can defeat this virus. Akshay Kumar who is known for spreading social awareness is the first actor to resume shooting for an awareness ad related to coronavirus pandemic amid the nationwide lockdown caused by Covid-19. The coronavirus pandemic has hit the country hard and everything went to a standstill after it forced to shut all the activities. ## According to reports, the actor has started shooting for an awareness campaign for the central government which will air soon. The campaign has been helmed by none other than R. Balakrishnan, popularly known as R. Balki who directed Akshay Kumar's 'Padman' in 2018 and also penned Mission Mangal last year. ## For shooting the awareness ad, all the necessary guidelines related to Covid-19 are being followed to make sure the safety of everyone. Vignesh Shivan's Tamil romantic comedy Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal is likely to kickstart in August after the nationwide lockdown lifted and shooting activities resume. Apart from the direction, Vignesh Shivan has also penned it and was happy to announce his favorite script. ## The film will have a dynamic trio of Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha Akkineni, and Nayanthara in the lead roles. Samantha Akkineni and Nayanthara will be sharing the screen space for the first time whereas both have already worked with Vijay Sethupathi in Super Deluxe and Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, respectively. ## Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal was likely to go on floors in April but the coronavirus pandemic and the nationwide lockdown forced the makers to push the film. Now, makers have revealed that it will kickstart in August. ## The movie is produced by Rowdy Pictures, Seven Screen Studio while Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music of the film. The film also marks the birth of two aspiring young actors, Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon who made their Bollywood debut with Heropanti.
