Mumbai, April 10 (IANS) Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana has expressed his gratitude to the COVID frontline warriors reciting a poem he wrote for them.## "This is for all the Frontline Warriors -- fighting for us, saving us, risking their lives for us and our families against coronavirus," he tweeted along with the video.## "Have written these words to express my gratitude. I salute you. India salutes you. Jai Hind," he added.## He starts the poem by highlighting the plight of a shop owner, and people residing in the buildings which have been sealed amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis.## Through the poem, he stressed that the situation is a "collective karma of humankind".## The actor saluted the spirit of people working hard to ensure essential services reach people, healthcare officials, police and people working hard towards making it a clean and sanitized environment.## He urged people to give respect to the frontline warriors, once this is over, saying "koi kaam chotha nahi hota yeh baat apne paale bandh lena".## Ayushmann also said that they are the true stars as he mentioned: "Mujh jaise Bollywood hero hain bas naam ke". Los Angeles, April 10 (IANS) Singer Celine Dion revisited her iconic song "My heart will go on", and tweaked it to encourage people to practice social distancing amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.## Dion posted a re-do of the lyrics of her 1997 hit on her Instagram feed on Thursday, reports dailymail.co.uk.## The 52-year-old French Canadian diva posted a brief video snippet of her music video from the hit, which was the love theme for the Oscar-winning film "Titanic", next to which she wrote the altered lyrics in both English and French.## "Near, far wherever you are... make sure you're practicing social distancing," the singer wrote, before repeating the same sentiment in French.## She signed off in the caption with "Team Céline" and included the hashtags #ThursdayWisdom #restezchezvous #StayAtHome and #throwbackThursday.## Dion's post comes as many celebrities remind fans and followers via their social media channels about the importance of staying home during the spreading pandemic.## Earlier in an episode of "Watch What Happens Live", she revealed that initially, she didn't even want to do "My heart will go on".## "There was one song that I didn't want to record, and I'm glad they didn't listen to me," Dion said in response to a question from a fan on the show.## It was her late husband Rene Angelil, who was her manager at the time, who convinced her otherwise.## "It didn't appeal to me. Los Angeles, April 10 (IANS) Disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein has survived COVID-19 and has been released from a 14-day quarantine.## "He has been released from medical isolation and has now been "deemed alright," his spokesperson Juda Engelmayer informed about Weinstein, who is out of his 14-day quarantine at Wende Correctional Facility, the New York facility where he was housed as per a report by foxnews.com.## The spokesperson, however, denied knowledge of what symptoms of the novel coronavirus Weinstein, 68, may have had.## As per the disgraced movie mogul's prison consultant Craig Rothfeld, they "cannot comment on Mr. Weinstein's health condition due to HIPPA Laws in addition to wanting to maintain his privacy which he deserves".## Rothfield did say that Weinstein "is still in the Regional Medical Unit (RMU) at Wende CF and being monitored for his various medical conditions".## His team pointed out that he is "in a super-maximum prison with no special treatment. He doesn't have his own phone, TV or any other things people are speculating about".## On March 11, the producer was sentenced to 23 years in prison for third-degree rape and a criminal sex act. He, however, maintained that he had consensual "extramarital affairs" with the victims. Mumbai, April 10 (IANS) Former Miss World Manushi Chhillar has been approached by UNICEF to be a part of their campaign to raise awareness on the COVID-19 pandemic.## In a video that has been released by UNICEF India, Manushi is seen urging people to stay at home and practice social distancing.## "As a citizen of my country, it is my duty to stand up and do my bit to raise as much awareness on issues pertaining to us. Coronavirus has thrown us all into unchartered territory and it is an extremely critical situation that's affecting us all," Manushi said.## She says she is honored to be part of Unicef's initiative to make fellow citizens "aware of the tremendous threat that exists if they decide to step outside their homes."## "It is an extremely important campaign that all Indians should take note of to stop the infection and save lives."## Manushi, who is set to debut in Akshay Kumar starrer "Prithviraj" is seen in the video saying: "I'm staying at home right now because I want to make sure that my friends, family and also all of you are safe."## She is seen speaking about the do's and don'ts that people should keep in mind if they step out of their home.## "Social distancing means staying at home and when we go out for groceries maintaining one meter or more distance between us and another person. They promise to continue to give their fans new music as they feel people need music more than ever right now.## Many projects have been put on hold due to the global lockdown following the increase in a number of victims of the novel coronavirus outbreak.## But The Aces, which consist of sisters Cristal (lead vocalist and guitarist) and Alisa Ramirez (drummer), Katie Henderson (guitarist) and McKenna Petty (bassist), dropped their new song just a few days ago.## "'Lost Angeles' was actually written about a year ago. It documents our experience moving from our smaller suburban home town, and how heartbreak can change a city for you. We think people need music more than ever right now, so we will continue to give our fans new music," Cristal told IANS.## The quartet had also recently released the video of their track "Daydream".## Now, they are in Utah in the US with family. "We aren't getting together because we are trying to be as safe as we can, but lots of group FaceTimes are happening," said Alisa.## They just united for a virtual performance and chat with their fans for ‘Vh1 Quarantunes' Live on the Instagram page of Vh1 India.## They are used to performing in front of a crowd. The veteran actor is afraid that he might just turn blind.## "The eyes they see blurred images .. the vision reads double and for some days now I reconciled myself to the fact that blindness is on its way, to add to the million other medical problems that invest in me," expressing his concern, Amitabh Bachchan wrote on his blog.## The actor also went down the memory lane to recall how his mother would cure him if he ever got hurt in the eyes. "But then .. today .. thought of those early years when Ma used to take the edge of the sari, the ‘pallu', make a soft round ball with it, blow into it to make it warm and place it on the eye .. and BAM! problem solved...So followed that .. hot watered a hand towel and placed it on the eyes," he wrote.## Big B later revealed that his doctor has assured him that he is not turning blind. It is just enhanced screen-time which is taking a toll on the eye. "spoke to the doc and followed his instruction of putting in prescribed eye drops every hour .. reassured me that I was not going blind - that there was far too much time being spent in front of the computer .. the eyes were tired .. that's all."## However, Bachchan sounds happy that following his mother's homely remedy has worked wonder on his eyes!
