One of the most-anticipated matches in WWE history takes place this Saturday at the biggest stage of them all. ## The greatest of the all-time is set to run a showdown with "The Head Of The Table" Roman Reigns at SummerSlam 2021.## After Universal Champion Roman Reigns flat-out denied the challenge of 16-time World Champion John Cena in favor of one from Finn Bálor on SmackDown, The Head of the Table looked to sign the contract for his showdown against The Prince at “Your Summer Vacation Destination,” SummerSlam, on Aug. 21!## During the segment, Balor was about to sign the contract, but he was attacked by Baron Corbin. Corbin took out Balor and was going to sign his name on the contract. As he was about to sign, John Cena ran down to the ring to stop him.## Cena then signed the contract himself and handed it to Adam Pearce. However, Later on, the same night, Roman Reigns denied John Cena’s challenge in favor of Finn Bálor. ## After the show went off the air, John Cena teamed up with The Mysterios against Roman Reigns & The Usos in a dark match that you can watch below. During the match, Roman Reigns and John Cena faced off, although they didn't get physical as Reigns rolled out with The Uso being left over. ## The Match ended with John Cena performing Attitude Adjustment to The Usos. Rosenberg and guest host Stat Guy Greg of Cheap Heat had an exclusive conversation with WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. ## Reigns discussed if there being potentially a new top guy that's going to have him in the view a spot right now and keep that cycle going. According to Reigns McIntyre is the one person on the roster that he really has to watch out for that and maybe five or six years they're going to be taking his spot. ## "There ain't nobody, man, and it's no — I could say my favorite number two, Drew, he's my favorite number two," said Roman Reigns. "There's a bunch of number twos, threes, whatever you want to call them. We can rank them, it really doesn't matter." ## "They're under me. How far under? Who knows? Who really cares at this point? Edge. ## The Rated-R Superstar emerged for the first time since WrestleMania, furiously attacking Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso on SmackDown. now, as first revealed on WWE Talking Smack, Edge will challenge The Head of the Table one-one-one for the prestigious title at WWE Money in the Bank. ## Roman has some words for Edge before they lock up. They lock up and Roman with a clean break. They lock up and Edge backs Roman into the corner and Edge with a pie face to Roman in the corner. Reigns telling Edge "this is my ring" as they near each other. ## Roman Reigns is fully fired up...Reigns with a Headbutt and then runs shoulders into the turnbuckle. Edge is back to attacking mood. He drives Roman into the ring post twice. Roman rolls out and has a talk with Paul Heyman, Roman back to the ring, apparently landing a big right hand. Edge is out...Roman Reigns with a Samoa Drop into the ground. The referee makes the counts. At the count of eight, Ege rolls in. ## Reigns continue to put on damage, Edge is ducked out in front of the announce desk. Reigns is bouncing off Edge up to the Steel steps. Both are back to the middle, Reigns has Forearms followed by a Headbutt.## Roman Reigns drives Edge into the ring post. Meanwhile, the crowd chants: "Roman sucks". A suplex by Reigns for near fall. Roman attempts to get to the ropes and Edge turns it into a Crossface. Roman gets to the rope to force a break of the hold. Edge with a spear attempt but Roman counters with a guillotine. Edge backs Roman into the corner but Roman reapplies the guillotine. ## Roman sets for a spear and he misses and goes through the ringside barrier. Edge goes to the floor and spears Roman through another part of the ringside barrier. Reigns brings him back into the ring. Edge fires back and sets for the Impaler DDT but Roman with a punch. Roman with a Superman punch as Edge falls into the referee and he goes down. ## Roman gets a chair and stomps on it to break apart a piece of it. The referee falls to the floor. Edge blocks the Crossface using the piece of the chair while the referee is checked on by the medical staff. ## Edge head butts to escape. Now, Edge instead picks up the piece of the chair and puts Roman in the Crossface. Meanwhile, Jimmy Uso and Jey Uos make their way to the ring and they are pulled out of the ring by Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio. Rollins with a kick to the head of Edge and goes to the back. ## Roman sets for the spear but Edge with a spear instead. Another referee finally comes to the ring and Roman kicks out at two. Rey Mysterio is out for retribution against Universal Champion Roman Reigns for the attacks that The Head of the Table unleashed on him and his son Dominik, and he is not willing to wait for WWE Hell in a Cell. He wants Reigns tonight on SmackDown. ## The Bell rings as Rey goes down to the ring and ducks a chair inside the ring. Roman Reigns tries to block, but Rey is able to run it to the ribs. Rey Mysterio hands in a Fire Extinguisher and showers it on Reigns. Mysterio with toolbox to take Reigns down. ## Back from the commercial break as Rey Mysterio continues to run the chair. Reigns is having trouble with that chair hanging in his neck. Rey drives Roman into the turnbuckle. Reigns somehow able to respond, Reigns follows up a Spear, but nobody home. Rey Mysterio gets out of his way and Roman crashes in. ## Roman gets Rey up for a power bomb and Rey tries to counter with a Rana but Roman swings Rey into the ring post and cell. Roman tosses Rey face-first into the cell. ## Back from the commercial break as Rey recovers. Reigns pummel Rey with side knees into the turnbuckle. Roman Reigns appears with a Superman puch and prepares for a Spear, but Rey catches him with a Boot. ## Rey looks to land 619, but Reigns blocks it somehow. Reigns crashes himself into the turnbuckle as Rey slides. Rey gets the steel chair inside and gets it on Reigns. Rey settles the Steel chair on Roman's chair and appears with back-to-back Frog Splash for the near fall. ## This time Roman Reigns tosses Rey into the cell.
