Deool Band 2 has reached a massive milestone in its theatrical journey, officially crossing the 50 crore net mark at the Indian box office. This sequel, written and directed by Pravin Tarde, has clearly touched an emotional chord with the audience by blending a gritty social narrative with deep devotional themes. By addressing the sensitive issue of farmer suicides through the eyes of Sangeeta, a struggling woman who finds solace in visions of Shri Swami Samarth, the film has managed to sustain interest far beyond the typical run of a regional drama. Mohan Joshi's return as the saint and Snehal Tarde's powerful performance as Sangeeta have driven this success, proving that stories rooted in faith and local struggles still carry enormous weight at the ticket windows. Entering the 50 crore club is a rare feat for Marathi cinema, and it cements this production's status as a blockbuster. As of its 15th day, the film is continuing its steady run despite entering its third week. Live updates show that the movie has added about 0.41 crore net so far today, which pushes the total India net collection to 51.21 crore. Looking back at the 14th day, which was the second Wednesday, the film earned 1.80 crore. While this was a 23.4 percent drop from the previous day, the hold remained respectable for a mid-week performance. On the gross side, the domestic total has now successfully surpassed the 60 crore mark, currently standing at 60.22 crore. With 51.21 crore net already in the bank, the next logical target for Deool Band 2 is the record set by the blockbuster Ved. According to the current standings, the film needs to collect approximately 10 crore more to surpass the 61 crore net mark achieved by Ved. Given that it has just entered its third week and still has 826 shows running today, the path toward that record seems clear, though the pace of collection over the coming weekend will be crucial in determining how quickly it closes that gap. In the national multiplex chains, the film saw a decent turnout during its second Wednesday. The combined gross from major chains like PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis was approximately 12 lakh. This came from about 5,400 tickets sold across 570 shows. PVR led the contribution with nearly 6 lakh, while INOX and Cinepolis followed with roughly 3 lakh each. The average occupancy across these premium screens hovered around 4 percent, showing that the urban audience is still trickling in to watch the sequel.
