Mumbai, November 13 - The '90s Bollywood star Suneil Shetty is all set to reprise his iconic character as Yeda Anna from the action comedy film Awara Paagal Deewana (2022), but with a big twist. While the actor is stepping into the shoes of this famous character again, it is not for APD. According to the report by Pinkvilla, Sunil Shetty is reuniting with Akshay Kumar in Firoz Nadiadwala's Welcome To The Jungle, which is currently in its last schedule of filming. Director Ahmad Khan confirmed the development to the platform and also revealed some details. "Well, Suniel is playing the character that we have picked up from Awara Paagal Deewana, Yeda Anna. So, he is playing Yeda Anna with a little different touch. He has got that already up his sleeve, the same character", he said, while adding, "You will basically see Anna, the same Suniel Shetty who was known for the character that he used to play: a funny, humorous Yeda Anna and Shyam". Ahmad Khan further revealed that Shetty's Yeda Anna has a great banter with Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, which will take the fun and chaos a notch higher. The actor was excited to come on board and to see this unexpected crossover in Welcome 3. He will also have 3 songs in the film. Mumbai, May 17 - Over the last few years, Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, and Paresh Rawal's comedy entertainer Hera Pheri 3 has been the centre of media attraction, for all the right as well as wrong reasons. The film was officially confirmed, but without any clarity on when it would start. ## For the last few weeks, the chatter around the film has picked up, and it is said that the mahurat shot took place recently. Suneil Shetty confirmed that the makers would release an announcement video in May, but the latest development has once again put the movie in deep trouble. ## According to the latest report by Bollywood Hungama, veteran actor Paresh Rawal, who has been an integral part of the franchise, has walked out of Hera Pheri 3 due to creative differences with the makers. The actor has also reportedly confirmed the development. ## Paresh Rawal essays the role of Baburao Ganpatrao Apte. This character has a crazy fan base and is also one of the reasons why the franchise achieved cult status. Mumbai, April 1 - The third installment of the iconic Hera Pheri franchise is one of the most anticipated films, and the buzz skyrocketed after it was confirmed recently that director Priyadarshan would return to helm it.## Hera Pheri 3, which will mark the return of Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal, is supposed to start by the end of this year. While the fans are excited about it, director Priyadarshan has a disappointing update regarding the start time of this much-awaited threequel. ## The recent interview of the director confirmed that Hera Pheri 3 is unlikely to start before the end of next year and this is opposite to the public expectation. During an interview with ETV Bharat, Priyadarshan shared that he plans to start writing the film by next year. ## The director is currently shooting for the Akshay Kumar-fronted Bhooth Bangla which releases in April next year, and Hera Pheri 3 will be the follow-up for the filmmaker. "I plan to start work, start writing Hera Pheri 3 sometime next year. It is going to be very challenging to make the third part because there will be too many expectations", the director said. ## The director accepted that writing Hera Pheri 3 is going to be a challenge, as a lot of things have changed since the first Hera Pheri, which came 25 years ago in 2000. Mumbai, January 30 - In one of the biggest news of the year, director Priyadarshan is officially returning to direct the third instalment of the iconic comic caper, Hera Pheri franchise. He directed the original Hera Pheri (2000) and has been an absolute favourite of fans for the threequel. ## Hera Pheri 3 has been in demand for a long time and it was unofficially confirmed last year though there was no clarity on who would direct this hugely popular film. Well, this burning question finally got the answer when Priyadarshan, who is currently directing Akshay Kumar's Bhooth Bangla, shared his willingness to helm HP3. ## On January 30, Akshay wished the filmmaker on his birthday, and in response, Priyadarshan thanked him and in return gift, he said that he was willing to direct the next chapter of the cult classic and tagged the original trio of Akshay, Sunil Shetty, and Paresh Rawal. ## Akshay and other Hera Pheri stars were quick to respond to the filmmaker and were delighted to reunite.
