Mumbai, July 3 - After last doing a film together 17 years ago with Tashan (2008), Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan are reportedly reuniting for a thriller film, to be directed by Priyadarshan. The film has been in the news for the past few months, and now, more details have emerged regarding the same. ## According to the report by Hindustan Times, the project in question has been titled "Haiwaan", and the filming for the same is expected to commence in August this year. It is said that the makers feel the title describes the film's subject the best, which is reportedly an edge-of-the-seat thriller. ## The report also stated that other titles were also under consideration, but Haiwaan but clicked unanimously, given the characters the lead actors play. ## Akshay Kumar, meanwhile, recently wrapped up the shoot of horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan. The actor-director duo will also be reuniting for the third instalment of the iconic comedy franchise, Here Pheri, which is expected to start rolling by early next year. ## Saif Ali Khan, on the other hand, was last seen on the big screen in "Devara: Part 1" in 2024. Mumbai, July 3 - Ending months of speculations and anticipation, producer Namit Malhotra has officially announced the grand cinematic adaptation of the epic Ramayana. Directed by Dangal fame Nitesh Tiwari, the film was announced on July 3 with a breathtaking video that revealed the primary cast and teased the film's stunning scale. ## Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor will take on the revered role of Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi will portray Goddess Sita. Yash steps into the role of Ravana, with Sunny Deol portraying Hanuman, while Ravi Dubey is cast as Laxman. ## Though only five actors were formally announced, the ensemble cast will also feature Kajal Aggarwal, Arun Govil, Rakul Preet Singh, Sheeba Chaddha, Lara Dutta, and Kunal Kapoor, among others, in significant roles in this timeless saga. ## The announcement video itself has left fans awestruck with its cinematic brilliance. Mumbai, July 3 - In a historic recognition, star Indian actress Deepika Padukone is set to be honoured with a Star on the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame, Class of 2026. The announcement was made on Wednesday evening via a livestream by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce's selection panel. ## Padukone joins an illustrious list of 35 honourees this year, which includes acclaimed Hollywood names such as Emily Blunt, Rami Malek, Timothée Chalamet, Rachel McAdams, Stanley Tucci, and Demi Moore, among others. ## While Deepika becomes the first Indian citizen to receive this honour, she is not the first person of Indian origin. The late Sabu Dastagir, born in Mysore in 1924, was the first Indian to be inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960. Discovered by director Robert Flaherty, Sabu rose to fame with the 1937 film Elephant Boy, and after taking American citizenship in 1944, he went on to star in many successful Hollywood productions. ## Deepika Padukone's induction marks a major milestone in her international career, further cementing her status as a global ambassador for Indian cinema. Mumbai, July 2 - Director Aanand L. Rai's much-anticipated love story Tere Ishq Mein, starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, has officially completed filming. The shoot wrapped on Tuesday, July 1, and marks another emotional tale from the world of Raanjhanaa (2013), which also featured Dhanush under Rai's direction. The announcement of the film's wrap was accompanied by a symbolic and striking image, two bloodied hands held tightly together, hinting at the emotional intensity of the story. In the film, Dhanush plays Shankar, while Kriti Sanon portrays Mukti. The narrative delves into unrequited love, longing, and emotional conflict, promising a compelling cinematic experience. ## Marking her first collaboration with both Rai and Dhanush, Kriti Sanon shared a heartfelt message on social media. "Love wrapped in Anand Rai style drama and intensity!!❤️ After a roller coaster ride and a marathon of emotionally and physically draining schedules... Another beautiful journey comes to an end," Kriti wrote. "But this one has given me memories and equations that will last forever!!" ## She expressed gratitude to director Aanand L. Mumbai, July 2 - Director Nitesh Tiwari's epic Ramayana first look glimpse is set to be unveiled on July 3 during an event at a multiplex in Mumbai, amid the huge anticipation. The makers have officially confirmed the news; however, there are some rumours making the rounds on social media around this big development. ## There were rumours that the makers would only unveil the logo of Ramayana, and not the first look teaser as was speculated. However, the latest development has confirmed that the makers will indeed launch the first glimpse, which is 3 minutes long, on July 3. ## Other than the 3-minute teaser, the makers have also shown a 7-minute showreel to the media. This particular unit offers insight into the planning and execution of this monumental project. However, the video will not be released online now, as it will be unveiled only closer to the film's theatrical release on Diwali 2026. ## Also, it is revealed that the filming for the first part of Ramayana has been completed and the second part shoot will commence in August this year. The film is produced by Namit Malhotra's Prime Focus Studios and Yash's Monster Mind Creations. ## The movie features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Yash as Raavan, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman. Mumbai, July 2 - One of the most awaited action spectacles of the year, War 2, has had its official synopsis reportedly revealed through theatre listings in the USA, and it teases an explosive face-off between Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR's characters. ## A sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War and the sixth instalment in Yash Raj Films' blockbuster Spy Universe, War 2 brings back Hrithik Roshan as Kabir, the rogue RAW agent, while introducing Jr. NTR as Agent Vikram, a ferocious Special Units Officer on a mission to hunt him down, in his Bollywood debut. ## The viral synopsis reads, "Years ago, agent Kabir went rogue and became India's greatest villain ever. But this time, as he descends further into the deepest shadows, India sends its deadliest, most lethal agent after him, a Special Units Officer who is more than Kabir's equal, absolutely nuclear!
