Thanos May Return In The Future Marvel Cinematic Universe Films, Hints Its Creator

BY SACNILK

Los Angeles, September 13 - Thanos is arguably the most loved Marvel villain, who made his first presence in the MCU during the post-credits sequence to "The Avengers" in 2012. Later, the mad Titan appeared in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and "Guardians of the Galaxy". ## After the brief appearances in the aforementioned films, Thanos was finally made in "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Avengers: Endgame" as the primary villain in both movies, effectively making him the "big bad" of Marvel Studios' Infinity Saga. However, Thanos and his forces wiped out after Tony Stark aka Iron Man famously gave his life to save the universe. ## However, Jim Starlin, who created Thanos in the '70s and is known for his work with both Marvel and DC, believes that the famous Marvel villain may return in future MUC films. He spoke to Inverse about Marvel Studios' use of Thanos in their movies. ## Starlin said that Marvel is yet to be done with Thanos and shared his confidence that fans will see him again on-screen. "Well, I think he probably hits a nerve. He raises questions that a number of us have thought about. He's also just a badass character. I don't think anybody thinks we've seen the last of him. Disney made a shitload of money off of him and there's probably a shitload of money still to be made. So my fingers are crossed". ## Since Marvel is exploring the multiverse concept, the writer and artist discussed how it could pave the way for the possibility of bringing back Thanos. "I've heard Marvel may want to use some other characters I've done. I think they're running out. Now that they've got this multiverse, there's the possibility of bringing back Thanos. And with Thanos, that opens up possibilities for other characters. There are a few that they haven't used, like the Blood Brothers". ## It will be interesting to see if Marvel is really looking to reintroduce Thanos in the MCU, especially knowing the fact that Jonathan Majors' Kang the Conqueror is already being set up as the next major crossover villain who will be making many appearances in various Marvel projects over the next few years.## Stay tuned...

The Marvels Director Blames Captain America For Thanos Snap In Avengers: Infinity War

BY SACNILK

Los Angeles, October 20 - The "Captain Marvel" sequel "The Marvels" director Nia DaCosta has a different take on the events of Thanos causing half of life in the universe to dust out of existence in Avengers: Infinity War by just a Snap. While the Marvel fans found Thanos responsible for "The Snap", "The Marvels" director explains Captain America may actually be at fault. ## Speaking to Inverse (via comicbook), Nia DaCosta explains how Captin America was at fault when the time came to decide between saving Vision or sacrificing an entire universe to Thanos, the Mad Titan. ## "Something I like to say a bit flippantly about Captain America is that the Snap is all his fault because he was trying to do his best, trying to do the right thing", the director told. "There is a world in which he's a villain because, at the end of the day, he should have just sacrificed Vision (to save the universe)".## "He chose one robot's life, albeit a sentient one, over literally the entire universe. There's a sort of anti-hero in that if you want to look at it through that lens. People would say I'm crazy for thinking that way, but there's something connected to the journey of the anti-hero and the hero", she added.## In Avengers: Infinity War, Vision had offered to sacrifice himself and mind stone to keep Thanos away from adding it to his Infinity Gauntlet. However, Steve Rogers aka Captain America denied his proposal by famously saying that the Avengers weren't in the business of trading lives. He then teamed up with Black Panther in Wakanda for one last stand against the invading aliens, only to lose as Thanos did kill Vision to claim the Mind Stone. ## Stay tuned...
