It was released on January 9, and in no time, the movie emerged as a Sankranthi blockbuster. Financial Issues Put Telugu Movie 'Krack' On Hold

It turned out to be an anti-climax for the Telugu movie, Krack which was supposed to hit theaters today, on Saturday (January 9). Produced by reputed producer, Tagore B Madhu, 'Krack' was all set to be Ravi Teja's biggest release before it got into trouble due to a financial clash between the makers and distributors. ## The issue is related to the Tamil film Ayogya which was also produced by Tagore B Madhu a year and a half ago. Ayogya's failure at the box office and the ensuing debts are being cited as the reason behind Krack's financial tussle which has put the movie on hold. ## Due to the clash, première shows in the United States and the morning shows in India were canceled with the hope that the issue will get resolved by the afternoon. However, the uncertainty continues as the rescheduled press show in the afternoon also stood canceled even though a few of the cinema halls premiered the movie. ## While the talks are still on, according to the latest regional reports, the movie might start premiering tonight in theaters. (Ms) No. 001 dt. 04.01.2021- Reg. ## Full details: ## We here inform that the Governments of Government of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana were kind enough to accord the permission up to 50% occupancy of seats in Cinema Theaters/Multiplexes duly following Standard Operating Procedure in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana vide G.O. R.T. No. 443 dated 05.10.2020 and G.O. Ms. No. 158 dated 23.11.2020 respectively. In this connection, we hereby inform that with the occupancy of up to 50% seats and the expenditure incurred for maintenance of theatres with Standard Operating Procedure, the Management of Theaters are not able to meet the necessary expenditure for maintenance of theaters and therefore incurring losses. ## Now, that the Government of Tamilnadu has issued orders vide G.O. (Ms) No. 001 dated 04.01.2021 increasing the seating capacity of Cinemas Theaters/Multiplexes from 50% to 100% in Tamilnadu by following the Standard Operating Procedure, taking into account the decrease in COVID-19 case day bu day and the problems faced by the Cinema Theatres/Multiplexes. ## We therefore, requested both Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and other concerned Hon'ble Ministers and Departments through our letters dated 04.01.2021 to issue necessary orders to increase the occupation of Cinema Theaters from 50% to 100% duly following Standard Operating Procedure in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana which will help the Management of Cinema Theatres/Multiplexes to meet the necessary expenditure for maintenance of Cinema Theaters/Multiplexes in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. ## This is signed by Hon. Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrashekhar Rao has announced that a film city with international standards would be set up on the outskirts of Hyderabad and the government would allot 1500 to 2000 acres of land for the project.## "There are ample opportunities to develop and expand the film industry in the state. Hyderabad is a cosmopolitan city. People from different parts of the country and different mother tongues have settled here. The city has the ability to offer shelter to anyone", the CM said. ## "The state government has the idea of setting up a world-class Film City of Hyderabad. The government will acquire 1500-2000 acres for this purpose. Plots will be allocated to the film production companies to set up studios with state-of-the-art technologies and to suit to needs of the future", he added. ## While stressing out at the fact that around 1 million people directly or indirectly depend upon the film industry, their lives have been affected badly due to the covid-19 pandemic.
