Universal Pictures and franchise star Vin Diesel announced that the next film in the franchise is titled Fast Forever and is scheduled to hit theatres on March 17, 2028. The announcement was shared by Diesel on social media, where he reflected on the emotional journey of the saga and its enduring legacy. Vin Diesel, who is also the producer of the franchise, shared the news about Fast Forver on Instagram, posting a photo of himself with the late Paul Walker from the original film, 2001's The Fast and the Furious. Diesel captioned the post, "No one said the road would be easy... but it's ours. One that has defined us and become our legacy... And a legacy... lasts forever". The movie got affected due to the release of "Oppenheimer" in its second week but did well enough to hit the box office milestone. ## "Mission Impossible 7" is the first movie for Tom Cruise to achieve the 100 crores net mark milestone at the Indian box office. The actor's previous highest-grossing film in India was "Mission Impossible 6 - Fallout" (2018) which scored approx. 81 crores net collection in its entire box office run. ## Directed by Christopher McQuarrie, "MI7" is the 12th Hollywood movie ever to reach the 100 crores net mark in India and six movies of them have been released in the post-pandemic era. Mumbai, May 28 - Vin Diesel-fronted action thriller Fast X has crossed 100 crores gross at the Indian box office, becoming the first Hollywood movie of the year to do so. ## Directed by Louis Leterrier, "Fast X" crossed the century mark on its second Saturday, taking the total collection to around 105 crores after 10 days. It is also performing well today (2nd Sunday) and is likely to rack in another 7 crores for around 112 crores gross through the second weekend. ## In one of the rarest cases, the Hindi version of the film is performing better than the original English language as it has earned approximately 54 crores gross while the English version has collected around 52 crores through the second Sunday. Tamil and Telugu version has earned over 6 crores. ## As far as net collection is concerned, "Fast X" has earned around 93.50 crores in all languages. Mumbai, May 25 - Vin Diesel-fronted Hollywood action thriller Fast X was the first choice of Indian moviegoers this week, and rightly so, it scored one of the biggest opening weeks for a non-superhero Hollywood titles in India. ## "Fast & Furious" is one of the most loved Hollywood franchises in India and the 10th installment has lived up to the expectations. The movie was released on Thursday (May 18), and despite the mid-week release, it scored a very good 4-day weekend with approx. 60 crores net (71 crores gross) collection. ## The high-octane actioner remained steady during the weekdays which helped it to post around 79+ crores net in the extended 8-day first week.
