Los Angeles, January 31 - The long-running Fast & Furious franchise has just been revived for possibly one last time. Universal Pictures and franchise star Vin Diesel announced that the next film in the franchise is titled Fast Forever and is scheduled to hit theatres on March 17, 2028. The announcement was shared by Diesel on social media, where he reflected on the emotional journey of the saga and its enduring legacy. Vin Diesel, who is also the producer of the franchise, shared the news about Fast Forver on Instagram, posting a photo of himself with the late Paul Walker from the original film, 2001's The Fast and the Furious. Diesel captioned the post, "No one said the road would be easy... but it's ours. One that has defined us and become our legacy... And a legacy... lasts forever". Los Angeles, July 12 - Hollywood superstar Scarlett Johansson has outgrossed her fellow male and female stars to become the highest-grossing leading star at the worldwide box office. The actress, who famously played Black Widow in the MCU, has achieved this remarkable feat after the success of "Jurassic World Rebirth". ## Scarlett Johansson's box office success is largely attributed to her involvement with the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Still, she has also proven her worth with films like "Jurassic World Rebirth" (2022), "Lucy" (2014), and her voiceover roles in "Sing" (2016). ## Of the 10 actors listed in the top-grossing stars, 8 have recurring roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Mumbai, July 29 - Tom Cruise-led action thriller "Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning - Part One" has become the second Hollywood movie of the year to cross the 100 crores net mark at the Indian box office after Vin Diesel's "Fast X". ## The 7th installment in the blockbuster Mission Impossible franchise crossed the century mark on its 18th day in all versions. The movie got affected due to the release of "Oppenheimer" in its second week but did well enough to hit the box office milestone. ## "Mission Impossible 7" is the first movie for Tom Cruise to achieve the 100 crores net mark milestone at the Indian box office. The actor's previous highest-grossing film in India was "Mission Impossible 6 - Fallout" (2018) which scored approx. 81 crores net collection in its entire box office run. ## Directed by Christopher McQuarrie, "MI7" is the 12th Hollywood movie ever to reach the 100 crores net mark in India and six movies of them have been released in the post-pandemic era. It is currently the 12th highest-grossing film and will end up in the top 10 by tomorrow.## Dead Reckoning Part One sees Tom Cruise return as Ethan Hunt, whose IMF team matches wits with a powerful rogue AI known as "the Entity". Los Angeles, July 17 - Marvel Studios' recent blockbuster "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" is getting ready to release on Disney Plus soon. Directed by James Gunn, the movie was originally released on May 5 this year and grossed close to $850 million at the worldwide box office.## It has been more than two months since the movie is in cinemas though its run at the box office is almost over. Now, Disney has provided an update regarding the film's digital premiere and the MCU fans will not have to wait much longer for the same. ## The streamer has confirmed that GoTG3 will start streaming on Disney+ on August 2, 2023, almost three months after its theatrical release. In India, the movie is expected to be available on the same date on Disney+Hotstar in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.## Earlier, Disney used to stream Marvel movies on Disney+ less than 8 weeks after the theatrical release. However, Disney's CEO recently admitted that the frequent Marvel content on Disney+ is diluting the audiences' focus and attention from theatrical tentpoles. Now, gone are the days of the studio putting its latest blockbusters on Disney+ less than 50 days after release. ## It is the sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017), and the 32nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Mumbai, May 28 - Vin Diesel-fronted action thriller Fast X has crossed 100 crores gross at the Indian box office, becoming the first Hollywood movie of the year to do so. ## Directed by Louis Leterrier, "Fast X" crossed the century mark on its second Saturday, taking the total collection to around 105 crores after 10 days. It is also performing well today (2nd Sunday) and is likely to rack in another 7 crores for around 112 crores gross through the second weekend. ## In one of the rarest cases, the Hindi version of the film is performing better than the original English language as it has earned approximately 54 crores gross while the English version has collected around 52 crores through the second Sunday. Tamil and Telugu version has earned over 6 crores. ## As far as net collection is concerned, "Fast X" has earned around 93.50 crores in all languages. It will enter the 100 crores mark this week.## Meanwhile, the 10th installment in the "Fast & Furious" franchise topped $500 million at the global box office on Sunday. Mumbai, May 25 - Vin Diesel-fronted Hollywood action thriller Fast X was the first choice of Indian moviegoers this week, and rightly so, it scored one of the biggest opening weeks for a non-superhero Hollywood titles in India. ## "Fast & Furious" is one of the most loved Hollywood franchises in India and the 10th installment has lived up to the expectations. The movie was released on Thursday (May 18), and despite the mid-week release, it scored a very good 4-day weekend with approx. 60 crores net (71 crores gross) collection. ## The high-octane actioner remained steady during the weekdays which helped it to post around 79+ crores net in the extended 8-day first week. This is the second-biggest opening week total for a non-superhero Hollywood title in India, after "The Lion King" (2019) which scored 81+ crores net collection. ## "Fast X" is approaching 100 crores net club and it will breach this mark mostly during the second week. It will be the second film in the "Fast and Furious" franchise to enter the 100 crores net club in India after "Fast & Furious 7" (2015) which scored approx. 108 crores net.
