It's official, Randy Orton will defend the WWE Title against Drew McIntyre next week on Monday Night Raw, The announcement took place during tonight's Monday Night Raw.## Were backstage with Adam Pearce and Randy Orton, Adam Pearce declared that Randy Orton will defend the WWE Title against Drew McIntyre next week on Raw. Randy Orton was not happy to defend the title against Drew McIntyre.## Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton have locked the horns multiple times. Talking about the most hilarious, then it included their match at SummerSlam, Clash Of Champions, and then at Hell In A Cell where Drew McIntyre lost the title to Randy Orton.## He was victorious, winning his tenth WWE Championship. This time Orton came out victorious, winning his 10th WWE Championship.## At age 24, he became the youngest world champion in WWE history after he won the World Heavyweight Championship from Chris Benoit. "The Viper" Randy Orton will officially be challenging WWE Champion Drew McIntyre in an Ambulance match at WWE Clash Of Champion 2020.## At SummerSlam, Drew McIntyre defeated Randy Orton to retain the WWE Championship. The following night on Monday Night Raw saw Randy Orton kick-off the show, The announcers reveal a series of matches with the winners competing in a Triple Threat with the winner challenging WWE Champion Drew McIntyre at Clash of Champions on September 27, the series included Dolph Ziggler vs. Keith Lee, Orton vs. Kevin Owens and Dominik Mysterio vs. Seth Rollins. Rey Mysterio was being replaced by his son due to an injury.## In the first Triple Threat Qualifier match, Keith lee triumphed over Dolph Ziggler heading to the Triple Threat match. In the second match, Randy Orton defeated Kevin Owens to advance in the match. In the next and the final match, Seth Rollins defeated Dominik Mysterio.## Following a Triple Threat match between Randy Orton Vs. Keith Lee Vs. Seth Rollins, Keith Lee caught Seth Rollins under a Massive Powerbomb, Randy Orton into the ring with an RKO to Keith Lee, Randy Orton instead covered Seth Rollins for the counts to win the match. Now, Randy Orton with the winner will challenge Drew McIntyre at Clash Of Champions on Sep. 27, 2020.## The following week, McIntyre changed the stipulation of their match to an ambulance match.
