Mumbai, December 17 - Director Anees Bazmee's "Welcome" (2007), fronted by Akshay Kumar remains one of the most loved comedy films of all time. Its sequel, "Welcome Back", was released in 2015 and also worked in cinemas though it couldn't recreate the magic of its predecessor.## Over the past few years, the talks regarding "Welcome 3" has been on the rise, and producer Nadiadwala himself confirmed the development now, in a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, the filmmaker revealed that it will be made on a huge scale. ## Firoz Nadiadwala revealed that the title of the movie would most likely be "Welcome To The Jungle". He said that the movie will be based on a military action backdrop and will retain the humor, wit, and entertainment that is associated with this franchise. ## "We'll make use of the 'huey' helicopters and for the first time in an Indian film, aircraft carriers will be used in action scenes. It’ll be made on a scale that has never been seen before in Indian cinema in terms of production value, grandeur, etc", said the filmmaker.## It is not yet confirmed whether Akshay Kumar or other casts will reprise their roles in "Welcome 3" but Nadiadwala confirmed that top stars will feature in the movie. Mumbai, June 24 - Producer Firoz Nadiadwala has confirmed that Hera Pheri 3 is in the development with the Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, and Paresh Rawal, and the announcement for the same will be made soon. The producer in the same interview also teased a blockbuster crossover between Hera Pheri and Welcome. ## According to reports, producer Firoz Nadiadwala had attempted to make a crossover film almost a decade ago, with his two iconic films - Hera Pheri and Welcome. Producer Nadiadwala in an interview with Bollywood Hungama has confirmed the same without going into details. ## "Yes, and I don't want to go into details. However, for a crossover, the characters have to be like that. They should be lovable and only then does it work. Fortunately, we have had lovable characters in our films like Uday, Majnu, Baburao, Raju, Shyam", he said. ## When asked if the Welcome-Hera Pheri crossover film be made in the future, Nidadwala said, "Yes, and that too in a big way. The goings-on in the narrative will be justified, with common sense and logic in place. But as I said before, you can attempt crossover only when you have the characters. Being one of the most loved film franchises, there have been many rumors about its next chapter, and if reports are to be believed, "Welcome" will start rolling in the second half of 2022. ## According to reports, the script for "Welcome 3" has already been written and the makers are planning to take it on floors in the latter part of next year. While the lead pair is yet to be finalized, it is reported that Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, and Paresh Rawal will be reprising their roles from the first two films. ## The "Welcome" franchise was kicked off in 2007 when Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif led the first film along with Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, and Paresh Rawal.
