In the main event for Night 2, SmackDown's Universal Champion Roman Reigns defeated Raw's WWE Champion Brock Lesnar to win both titles and become recognized as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. ## The match was barely able to get in 12 minutes at WrestleMania 38 last weekend, there was talk that possibly the match concluded unexpectedly because Reigns suffered some sort of injury to his arm or shoulder. ## However, Dave Meltzer confirmed that Reigns was not injured and the match played out just as they laid it out. Dave noted that it was not a bad match by any means. It was a Brock Lesnar match, no different from many others. ## I am still not convinced if that's the end of the Brock and Roman feud, possibly, down the line, there is one more match left to be done. ## However, Many believe, The Lesnar vs Reigns fight is over and Reigns will move on to a different opponent. WWE hasn't revealed who Reigns will face next at WrestleMania Backlash. At the House Show, Reigns is advertised for matches against Drew McIntyre. Dave Meltzer has announced Star Ratings For Wrestlemania 38 Matches. ## WWE WrestleMania 38 was held as a two-night event, taking place on April 2 and 3, 2022, at the AT&T Stadium in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex city of Arlington, Texas. ## The event aired on pay-per-view (PPV) worldwide and was available to stream through Peacock in the United States and the WWE Network internationally. Vince McMahon had his (hopefully) last match at WrestleMania, but it wasn't something many other in the company were keen on. ## According to Fightful Select, McMahon was said to have made the decision to wrestle on the show months ago. Numerous people close to him and on the creative team vocally expressed that they thought it was a terrible idea. ## McMahon hadn't been physical since a 2017 angle with Kevin Owens, and hadn't had an actual match since his 2010 match with Bret Hart that was considered one of the worst in WrestleMania history. ## There were plenty of laughs had by the team and Vince McMahon himself in the days that followed the event. McMahon recognized it was a terrible performance and sell of the Stunner, but chalked it up to "as long as people were laughing and entertained, it's okay." ## In another humorous thing in retrospect, Vince McMahon laid out the entire post-match for the show, including Austin Theory's music hitting after the match.
