Bengaluru, March 31 - Kannada languages' highest-grossing film of all time, "KGF: Chapter 1" is all set to re-release across the country, ahead of its Chapter 2 release on April 14. The Yash-fronted action thriller film will be released in select theaters from April 8-15 at subsidized rates. ## Directed by Prashanth Neel, "KGF: Chapter 1" was one of the highest-grossing Indian films of 2018 with a worldwide gross of approx. 240 crores. The film became a nationwide sensation upon its release and went on to become one of the biggest blockbusters of Kannada cinema. It was a long wait for this biggie due to the pandemic as the film was postponed many times. ## Earlier it was speculated that big-budget movies like RRR, Pushpa, Adipurush, and several others will likely clash with KGF 2.
