Aamir Khan Productions, yesterday clarified that "Laal Singh Chaddha" will arrive on April 14, 2022, as scheduled contrary to the reports of its postponement. ## The release of "Laal Singh Chaddha" will meet the much-anticipated Pan-India biggie, Yash-starrer "KGF: Chapter 2", which was long ago announced for that date. And now, Thalapathy Vijay's keenly-awaited Tamil blockbuster "Beast" is also looking for the same window. ## Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, "Beast" hasn't set an exact release date, but it has been announced for April release. Industry sources have said that it will be released on April 14, thus confirming the blockbuster clash with KGF 2 and LSC at the box office.## However, if all three biggies decide to come out on the same date, it will be "KGF 2", which will be affected the most. Being a Pan-India film, the movie is carrying a lot of anticipation and eyeing to be a potential highest-grosser of the year. In the scenario of the clash, its chances will get a dent due to screen sharing with the other two. ## Aamir Khan's "Laal Singh Chaddha" is an outright Hindi film and is expected to do well despite the clash with "KGF 2". Mumbai, December 28 - The South Indian films are expanding their wings in the Hindi-speaking market and even edging ahead of most of the outright Bollywood titles. After testing the blockbuster success with "Baahubali" and "KGF", another South Indian film in the form of "Pushpa - The Rise" has emerged as a successful affair in Hindi. ## "Pushpa - The Rise" marks Telugu superstar Allu Arjun's maiden Pan-India outing, and he couldn't have asked for a bigger and better launch in other languages, especially in Hindi. The Sukumar-directed is having a consistent run at the Hindi box office, earning approx Rs. 39.66 crores in the first 11 days, despite the limited shows and tough competition with biggies, likes "83" and "Spider-Man: No Way Home". ## The action-thriller film has shown a tremendous hold at the Hindi box office over the 11 days and didn't drop a single sign of going to the back seat. Before the second week completes, "Pushpa - The Rise" should cross Yash-starrer Kannada film, "KGF: Chapter 1's" lifetime Hindi net total of Rs. 44.42 crores and emerge as the second biggest Hindi (dubbed) launch of a South India actor.## Prabhas's "Baahubali - The Beginning" (2015) is currently the highest-grossing debut Pan-India film in Hindi for a South Indian actor. This record, however, is likely to be shattered by the upcoming SS Rajamouli's "RRR", which is scheduled to release on January 7. ## "Pushpa - The Rise", meanwhile, is likely to continue its strong run before "RRR" arrives, and will aim to cross Rs. 50 crore (looks inevitable) lifetime Hindi total to emerge as a superhit outing. Overall, "Pushpa" currently stands at Rs. 183 crores for all languages, and heading towards Rs. 200 crores net. Mumbai, November 25 - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan recently postponed the release date of his long-awaited comedy-drama film, "Laal Singh Chaddha" to April 14, 2022. The actor took this decision to give enough time to post-production work as he doesn't want to rush his work. ## "Laal Singh Chaddha" is a big-budget film and the makers don't want to compromise on quality. The postponement of the film, however, has confirmed a big box office clash with Yash-starrer "KGF: Chapter 2", which opens on the same date. KGF 2 is a pan India film and carries an unpreceded hype in every language. ## Aamir Kha, however, explained why he chooses April 14 release date for his film and also expressed his regret for clashing with KGF 2. "There are two ways of doing the visual effects — you can do a rush job or you can go for quality work. I didn’t want a rush job, hence I preferred to postpone the film". (according to box office worldwide).## "Ideally, I would never take a date which has already been finalized by the producer of another big film. I hate to give the impression that I am trespassing on someone else's territory, but since I am playing a Sikh for the first time in my career, the Baisakhi day seemed to be the most appropriate for the release of Laal Singh Chaddha", he added.## The actor revealed that he wrote the KGF team and explained his situation and also apologized. Bangalore, June 1, 2021: Kannada film superstar, Yash has come forward to help the industry workers in a time of crisis. The KGF star has decided to donate a sum of Rs. 1.50 crores to the workers of the Kannada film industry, who become jobless as there is no shoot due to the lockdown. ## As a great gesture, Yash will be donating a sum of Rs. 5000 to each of the 3000 industry workers in their personal bank accounts.
