With the win, Penta advances to the semifinals, where he'll await the winner of the bout between Psycho Clown and La Parka. Analysts going in considered Penta the favorite to eventually win the whole tournament and challenge Reigns at AAA Triplemanía in Mexico City. The finish saw Ruca drop jaws with an impressive Pop Rox reversal into a superkick that set up the match-ending Sol Snatcher.
