Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' On Course To Breach 1000 Crores At The Worldwide Box Office

Mumbai, February 12 - Spy action thriller, "Pathaan" starring superstar Shah Rukh Khan is running riot at the box office and crossed 900 crores mark within three weeks. ## Also starring John Abraham and Deepika Padukone, "Pathaan" is racing towards 1000 crores at the global box office looking at the current trend, thanks to the historic extended opening week in which the movie grossed approx. 697 crores globally, including 260 crores overseas. ## After such a massive week, "Pathaan" dropped around 78% globally in the second week for approx. 191 crores, reaching 888 crores after two weeks (16 days). The third week too had strong numbers, scoring approx. 47 crores net. Produced by Yash Raj Films, "Pathaan's" total collection after the full is approx. 976 crores gross worldwide. It will have competition from February 17 when "Shehzada" and "Ant-Man 3" will release. However, despite that, "Pathaan" is expected to retain a good amount of screens to breach past 1000 crores mark. ## "Pathaan" will be the only Bollywood movie to go past 1000 crores globally (which looks inevitable) without China. Pathaan Third Friday Early Estimates

Mumbai, February 10 - Pathaan is heading towards another good day at the box office going by the early estimate figures which suggest around 5 crores net mark on its third Friday. The hold once again has given a chance to the film to cross the collections of Bahubali: The Conclusion.## The third Friday collections will take the total tally of Pathaan to around 464cr net box office mark and now the film needs just another 50cr collection to emerge as the highest-grossing film in the Hindi language beating Bahubali: The Conclusion. ## There will be a growth in the collections tomorrow as it is a Saturday when multiplexes see huge walk-ins while single screens will see it's the best day on Sunday. Pathaan Outscores RRR To Become The Second Biggest Indian Grosser In North America

Los Angeles, February 10 - Shah Rukh Khan-fronted blockbuster "Pathaan" has become the second highest-grossing Indian film in North America, which is one of the biggest international movie markets for Indian titles. ## The spy action thriller, directed by Siddharth Anand, has grossed approx. $14.95 million (123 crores) in 16 days so far at the North American box office. It has outscored SS Rajamouli's mega-blockbuster "RRR" which has grossed $14.90 million and become the all-time second-biggest Indian and biggest Bollywood movie there. ## Rajamouli's "Baahubali The Conclusion" is currently the number one Indian title in North America with approx. $22 million. Ajay Devgn's Long-Awaited Sports Biopic 'Maidaan' To Be Postponed Again?

Mumbai, February 10 - It seems there is no easy way to get out of jail for Ajay Devgn-fronted "Maidaan". The long-awaited biographical sports drama film is getting difficulties in its release which has led to multiple delays over the last year or so. The movie was supposed to release in February this year, however, the makers recently announced its postponement to May 12, 2023, release. ## Now, according to the latest reports, the Amit Sharma-directed flick has been pushed again to June this year. Bollywood Hungama reports that "Maidaan" has been shifted to June 23 release, which is still a complex date to bring the film to the big screen. ## June 2023 is already flooded with two tentpole titles, "Jawan" (June 2) and "Adipurush" (June 16). Pathaan Third Thursday Early Estimates

Mumbai, February 9 - Pathaan is continuing with its steady run at the box office as the early estimate collections suggest 5.50-6 crores net on its third Thursday which is around a 10-12% drop from yesterday's collections. Even yesterday the film had shown a similar drop.## The third Thursday collections will take the total collections of Pathaan to around 459cr net box office mark as per early estimates. Pathaan has another free week and the first sign of competition will arrive the next week with Shehzada. Overall the job has been done and Pathaan has emerged as one of the biggest box-office hits of the last 15 years. ## The overseas numbers are never seen before as the film is heading for close to the 50 million mark. Mumbai, February 8 - Pathaan continues to hold well after a fantastic second weekend where it emerged as one of the biggest second weekends ever. As per the early estimates, the movie scored around 6.50-7 crores net on its third Wednesday. ## The film is showing a drop of around 10-12% daily which is a good sign. The ticket rates of the film are now more to regular levels and hence the collections are looking good only but with the same pricing as on weekends, the collections would have been excellent. The ticket rates should have been kept on the higher side as it would have helped the film to cross the Bahubali2 numbers which are still possible but not easy. ## The third Wednesday collections will take the total collections of Pathaan to around 453Cr net box office mark becoming the only Bollywood film in history to cross this landmark. Mumbai, February 5 - Pathaan has gone to another level on the second Sunday of its box office run as the early estimate collections suggest around 28 crores net in all versions. The film has shown a growth of around 25% compared to yesterday which is simply unbelievable as yesterday the film had a growth of close to 65%. Only universally accepted films show this sort of growth and there is no doubt that Pathaan is a universally accepted Blockbuster. ## The second Sunday collections will take the total collections of Pathaan to around 428cr net box office mark depending on where the actual second Sunday numbers fall. The mass centers have once again come in full force on Sunday due to the holiday while multiplexes were also good. Blockbuster 'Pathaan' Reaches New Box Office Milestones On Its Second Saturday

Mumbai, February 5 - Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" had a historic second Saturday at the box office as far as the Bollywood industry is concerned. ## Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan" scored 23.25 crores net on the second Saturday, which is the second biggest 2nd Saturday of all time for a Bollywood movie. With that, "Pathaan" has crossed 400 crores net mark (all languages) and becomes the first ever Bollywood film to achieve the feat. ## The Hindi version of "Pathaan" has scored 387 crores net, after a strong 22.50 crores on the second Saturday. The movie has now become the highest-grossing Hindi film ever, beating "Dangal" which grossed 374 crores net in the original Hindi version. At the time of writing this piece, "Pathaan" has become has crossed the 400 crores net in the Hindi language alone.## Not just domestically, "Pathaan" is breaking records at the overseas box office as well. It has become the highest-grossing Bollywood movie in the USA. It grossed $1.12 million on the second Saturday, pushing total gross collection to $13.40 million in 11 days. It surpassed Aamir Khan's "Dangal" ($12.39 million) to become the biggest Bollywood movie there.## "Pathaan" is also the highest-grossing Indian in Gulf countries. Mumbai, February 4 - Pathaan annihilated the box office on the second Saturday of its run with collections likely to be more than 60% compared to yesterday. The collections are heading towards the 23 crores net (Hindi - 22 crores) on the second Saturday, as per the early estimates. This is extraordinary growth for a mass front-loaded film that has already created historic initial records. ## The growth was always on the cards due to the superb holds on the weekdays but this sort of growth was unexpected and tells a lot about the public appreciation for Pathaan. East, West, North, and South Pathaan has superb growth all over the country across every circuit. There are a few underperforming centers as they are not at the historic levels but as standalone centers, they are doing well.## The second Saturday collections will take the entire collection of Pathaan to over 400cr net box office mark. The film has crossed the lifetime business of Dangal to emerge as the highest-grossing film in the Hindi film industry and it is also the first Hindi film that crossed the benchmark of the 400cr club. Pathaan is also heading to break many lifetime circuit records which might start in the next subsequent days. ## Sunday is set for further growth and a freaking 30cr plus Sunday cannot be ruled out the way the film is being appreciated. Pathaan Becomes Biggest Ever Bollywood Grosser At The Domestic Box Office

Mumbai, February 4 - Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" has become the highest-grossing Bollywood movie of all time at the domestic box office, beating Aamir Khan's all-time blockbuster "Dangal". Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan" scored 378.15 crores net, including 364.5 crores net in Hindi alone in 10 days. It has surpassed the "Dangal" lifetime collection of 387 crores in all languages as well as 374 crores in Hindi, as I type this piece, with a total net collection going past 400 crores (401 crores), including approx. 386 crores in Hindi.## As far as the gross collection is concerned, "Dangal" (535 crores) is still ahead of "Pathaan" (454 crores). "Pathaan" has also become the 3rd highest-grossing Hindi film after "Baahubali 2" (510 crores) and "KGF 2" (435 crores).
