On The Teacher's Day 2020, former miss world, Manushi Chhillar remembered her one of the most special teachers from her junior school. The beauty queen-turned actress opened up on the subject on the occasion of Teacher's Day on Saturday (September 5). The actress recalled her special dance teacher who ingrained the love for the stage in her. ## "One of my most special teachers from school was Ms. Bose. She used to teach us Indian dance and music in junior school. I moved to Delhi when I was seven and in second class, and it was she who ingrained the love for the stage in me. From a very young age she would take me in her programs", Manushi told IANS.## The 23-years old actress told that even though her teacher was among the strictest teachers, she loved her dearly as she learned discipline because of her teacher's strictness. "She was among the strictest teachers I had but I loved her dearly because through her strictness I learned about performance discipline, and I understood that when you enjoy performing and like the stage, there is a lot of practice and self-discipline to go with it". ## Manushi Chhillar, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut with superstar Akshay Kumar in "Prithviraj", remembered the special bond she shared with her teacher.## "As I grew older and left for senior school, I remember I used to meet her once a year during our annual day and she would come with her squad of girls from the junior school to senior school. I would always touch her feet and still do whenever I get a chance to meet her, but she would never let me finish my namaskar and would hug me", she said.## "I share a special bond with Ms. Bose and she is one of my most special teachers. I remember that when we were finishing class XII, we had our candlelight ceremony and everyone was quite emotional. The only teacher I kept thinking about was her because she had seen me grow and always encouraged and pushed me to give my best. Coming as a big development in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested Rhea Chakraborty's brother Showik Chakraborty and Sushant Singh Rajput's house manager, Samuel Miranda on Friday, September 4. ## According to NCB officials, the duo was arrested after 10 hours of questioning and after the agency got adequate evidence against them about their involvement in the drug case.## Earlier in the day, the NCB also carried out a raid at the residences of Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda. The department also seized Showik's laptop and mobile phone.## The NCB had also told a court that Showik used to order ganja and marijuana at the behest of her sister Rhea from drug-peddler Abdul Basit Parihar, who has been arrested and made payments to him over Google Pay.## Showik and Miranda will be produced before a court on Saturday. The Producers Guild of India, on Friday (September 4), has penned an open letter regarding the attacks on the reputation of the Indian film industry across all media. Since the last few months after Sushant Singh Rajput's death, there have been many reports in the media that targeted the film industry in the names of nepotism, movie mafia, drug mafia, etc. ## "The tragic death of a promising young star has been used by some as a tool to defame and slander the film industry and its members. A picture has been painted of the industry a terrible place for the outsiders to aspire to; a place that threatens those who dare to enter it with contempt and derision; a murky den of substance abuse and criminality. This narrative is salacious enough for the media to exploit to great effect in order to boost its ratings, readership and page views", the letter read. ## "But it is not the truth", the letter further stated. "Like any other sector, there is no doubt that the film industry has its imperfections, and there must always be an ongoing attempt by any industry to improve upon itself, learn and evolve while weeding out unsavory elements or improper practices that hold it back. But to paint an entire industry with the same brush is a gross misrepresentation of reality". ## While this film industry has its failure to some extent, there is another undeniable expect is that it is one of the largest industries which provides thousands of jobs, boost travel and tourism, which plays an important part to boost an economy. Stating about the same, the letter further read -## "The film industry employs hundreds of thousands of people, boost travel and tourism, and is one of the most important sources of the soft power of India across the world. It has entertained hundreds of millions of people for over a century and has brought joy, honor, and glory to the nation. Sadak 2 was one of the movies announced by Disney Plus Hotstar on June 29 and was one of the most awaited movies. However, despite having a multi-star cast, the movie couldn't live up to its expectations. ## Saaho was an overall disappointment even though the Hindi audience loved the film. It disappointed in the other languages as the audience felt that the story of the film was confusing and somewhere the Prabhas magic despite some glimpses, was also missing in this UV Creations' production.
