Coming up this week, WWE will conduct a Huge Mixed Tag-Team Match between the Champions Vs. Challengers ahead of NXT Takeover 31. Champions Io Shirai & Damian Priest will collide against Johnny Gargano & his wife Candice LeRae who won a Battle Royal to become the No. 1 Contender to the NXT Women's Title.##
As noted Damian Priest is slated to put his title on the line against Johnny Gargano at NXT Takeover 31 and Candice LeRae will also challenge Io Shirai for the NXT Championship.##
Plush, Shotzi Blackheart, and Dakota Kai will go one-on-one coming up this week on NXT. Finn Bálor and Kyle O’Reilly set for face-to-face hosted by Shawn Michaels.##

Shotzi Blackheart Vs. Dakota Kai##
We kicked the things off with Shotzi Blackheart walking to the ring to pick her match against Dakota Kai who also headed accompanied by Raquel Gonzalez. The bell rang as Dakota Kai took on her with a dash. Shotzi Blackheart soon had an Armbar forcing much Dakota Kai to tap out, but somehow Dakota Kai was able to walk out.##
Now, Dakota Kai took the charge on Blackheart with a Suplex for the cover, hooked the leg, but kicked out at one. Raquel Gonzalez also brought some interruption for Shotzi Blackheart, apparently letting Dako strick with a Backbreaker for the cover, but she kicked out at two.##
Back from the commercial break, Shotzi Blackheart was trying to battle back, massive knee from Blackheart, and then a kick right across the jaw. Blackheart with a Suplex for the cover, but kicked out at two. Dakota Kai with a shot to the side of the face taking Blackheart down on the apron. Shotzi Blackheart also took Dakota Kai down on the apron.##
They both landed a nasty move on the apron, they both went down on the ground, Shotzi Blackheart recovered getting back into the ring. She stood in the preparation of another move, but this time she got the interruption from Raquel Gonzalez who caught her leg out to perform the move.##
Rhea Ripley right appeared there with an attack on Raquel Gonzalez setting some help for Blackheart. Right in the ring as Dakota Kai looked for knee strick, but this time Blackheart moved to attempt a roll fo three counts to win the match.##
Winner: Shotzi Blackheart, won via pinfall##
Camrian Grimes Vs. Joey Pistachio##
Cameron Grimes came down to the ring calling out someone from the NXT roster, Joey Pistachio walked out. Cameron Grimes with a massive knee strick for the cover to win the match.##
Winner: Camrian Grimes, won via pinfall##
Camrian Grimes Vs. Ridge Holland##
Right after the match, Camrian Grimes went on to call out someone else, but this time he faced Ridge Holland stepping inside the ring. Ridge Holland continued to run ruthless legs on Grimes as the referee called out the match.##

Adam Cole Vs. Austin Theory##
Adam Cole right appeared into the ring address something, he took the mic to say that, "We are the same Undisputed ERA that has dominated this brand unlike anybody ever has or anybody ever will."##
Then he went on to call out Austin Theory for a one-on-one fight with the home. It was a grueling match between both stars, but Adam Cole busted the last shot to win the match.##

Kayden Carter Vs. Xia Lee##
We went out into the ring with a singles match between Kayden Carter Vs. Xia Lee, striking offense from Xia Lee taking control of Kayden Carter, Xia Lee with some kinds of frustration, a kick right to the face on Xia Lee for the cover, but kicked out at two.##
Xia Lee and Kayden Carter went with exchanges of rolls, and finally, Kayden Carter was able to get out as the victor.##
Winner: Kayden Carter, won via pinfall##
Johnny Gargano & Candice Vs. Io Shirai & Damian Priest [Mixed Tag-Team Match]##
Tonight it was all about champions versus the challengers. Johnny Gargano & Candice walked as for the first. Io Shirai & Damian Priest ran towards the ring with an attack on Johnny Gargano & Candice before we could hear the bell. The Official tried to settle the things up back to track.##
The bell rang as the match officially commenced, Priest and Johnny kicked the things off, Priest with some ruthless shots and then went on to tag with Io. Johnny also let Candice in. Candice drove Io into the corner, Candice with another move, Io ducked and went up to the top rope for the jump, Io with a knee strike.##
Johnny Gargano interrupted Io, Preist in making confrontation, Preist soon sent Johnny away with a knee right to the face. They both out, Priest had Io on his shoulder letting her jump on Johnny Gargano & Candice. Back from the commercial break, Candice was taking control of Io.##
Io battled back making the tag to Priest, Johnny Gargano also in, Priest with a massive Closeline. Johnny with a kick right to the back of the neck, Io with a tag, Io up to the top rope with Frog Splash on Johnny Gargano, Candice out into the ring making the save, but Io with her move on her too. Io went for the cover, but Johnny Gargano dragged her out.##
Io and Priest seemed to win the match. During the match, Io had Moonsault on Johnny Gargano and then went with a tag to Priest. Meanwhile, Johnny Gargano with a low blow as the official didn't that coming. Johnny Gargon performed DDT for the cover to win the match.##
