Impact Wrestling, formerly known as Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), has come a long way since its inception in 2002. The promotion's main output was originally a two-hour weekly program broadcast exclusively on pay-per-view. However, in 2004, Impact! launched as the company's flagship weekly television show, and monthly live three-hour pay-per-view events began to be produced. These events were initially held at the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida and quickly became some of the most popular wrestling pay-per-views in the world. ## In 2013, Impact Wrestling revamped its monthly event schedule to focus on four quarterly-held PPV cards. This change was made to reduce costs and increase viewership. Instead of monthly events, Impact began producing the TNA One Night Only series of taped specials that aired via pay-per-view providers.
