Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Seth Rollins Set For WWE Fastlane 2023

The upcoming World Title bout between Shinsuke Nakamura and Seth Rollins is set to happen at WWE Fastlane, and it's going to be a Last Man Standing Match. ## In a recent WWE announcement, it was mentioned that Nakamura would be responding to Seth Rollins' challenge. During the September 25 episode of WWE Raw, Rollins cut a promo warning Nakamura that if he didn't accept his proposal for another match, he would seek out other opponents. ## Nakamura didn't make a physical entrance but instead appeared on the titantron to accept Rollins' challenge for Fastlane in a Last Man Standing match. This match is expected to be a big deal, featuring two top stars from the Red brand. ## It's worth noting that this will be Seth Rollins' first Last Man Standing Match, as he has never participated in this type of match before. On the other hand, this will be Nakamura's second Last Man Standing Match, as he previously faced AJ Styles in a similar stipulation match at the Money In The Bank premium live event in June 2018. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

WWE Offered Ticket Refunds To Fans After Learning Of LA Knight Testing Positive For COVID

Glendale, September 25, 2023 - During the September 22 episode of WWE SmackDown, WWE had to make a big change because they had planned something that got canceled unexpectedly from the show. ## Fightful later said that Knight was taken out of the show because he tested positive for COVID right before WWE SmackDown and had to leave the place. Originally, he was supposed to be part of the main event. ## When they found out that LA Knight had COVID, WWE offered to give back money to the fans who bought tickets. Usually, WWE only announces if a really popular wrestler like Roman Reigns or Seth Rollins can't make it, so this shows how much they value Knight. ## Knight started on the main roster in 2022, and he's been one of the top wrestlers there. At first, he was a bad guy, managing a group called "Knight Model Management" and going by Max Dupri. ## Later on, Knight went solo, without any allies, and got really famous by fighting against wrestlers like Bray Wyatt and Ricochet. Even though he didn't win a lot, the fans liked him more and more. One of his big wins was when he threw Sheamus out of the ring to win the Slim Jim Battle Royal at SummerSlam this year. His most recent win was at Payback, where he beat The Miz with John Cena as the surprise referee. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

WWE Star Sheamus Suffering A Really Bad Shoulder Injury

Ontario, September 25 - The year 2023 has been quite eventful for the world of professional wrestling due to several major stars getting injured. Now, it appears that another big name in WWE is dealing with a serious injury that might keep him out of action for a considerable amount of time. ## Sheamus, also known as the Celtic Warrior, was last seen in action on the August 18 episode of SmackDown, where he faced Edge, possibly in Edge's final match under his current WWE contract. Many had concerns about Edge's return to WWE, but now it seems that another superstar is facing similar issues. ## During a recent discussion on the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer provided an update on Sheamus's injury, mentioning that he has a significant shoulder injury. This injury is one of the main reasons why Sheamus hasn't been appearing on television or participating in house shows. ## According to a report from Fightful Select, Sheamus's WWE contract is set to expire in the first quarter of 2024. However, there is a strong possibility that WWE may choose to extend his contract, especially considering his current injury. This could result in Sheamus staying with WWE for a few more months. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

WWE WrestleMania 40 Early Predictions: Top 5 Matches

Philadelphia, 25 September - WrestleMania, the most anticipated event of the year for WWE fans, is just around the corner. Fans are already excited about the rumored lineup, which is expected to deliver an incredible spectacle for the world of wrestling! ## Twists are already beaming up with WrestleMania XL being the first WrestleMania in which WWE is not owned and controlled by the McMahon family, following Endeavor's purchase of WWE. Looking back at the ticket sales, it went on sale on August 18, 2023, and sold over 90K tickets on the first day for both nights combined, breaking into WWE's record, set by the prior year's WrestleMania. ## WrestleMania 39 was one of the greatest spectacles, WWE Universe ever witnessed with a record-breaking star-studded show. This year, Triple H and the creative team will attempt to bring the best ever.## Let's check out the top 5 matches: ## #1. Undisputed WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns vs. The Rock ## For quite some time now, WWE has had plans to stage this match at the biggest event in their calendar, but those plans haven't materialized yet. Last year, there were strong rumors about this match happening at the show, but it ultimately didn't happen. This year, there's a significant likelihood that we'll finally witness The Rock taking on Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania. ## The Rock did make a return on the September 15 episode of SmackDown, but there was only a hint of a match against Roman Reigns. However, the Hollywood star recently appeared on the Pat McAfee show and mentioned that he's open to facing the current WWE Universal Champion at WrestleMania XL. ## #2. World Heavyweight Championship: Seth Rollins vs. Cody Rhodes ## If The Rock doesn't return for the main event of the Grandest Stage of them All, Cody Rhodes is the top pick to face Roman Reigns at the event. However, I firmly believe that The Rock vs. Roman Reigns will definitely happen this year. So, in the event of The Rock's return to the main event at the Grandest Stage of them All, Rhodes will require a formidable opponent, and there's no better choice than Seth Rollins for the WWE Heavyweight Championship. ## Their first encounter occurred at WrestleMania 38. On the first night of the event, on April 2, Cody Rhodes made a surprise return and defeated Rollins. Then, at WrestleMania Backlash on May 8, Rollins suffered another loss to Rhodes. The subsequent week, Rhodes challenged Rollins to a Hell in a Cell match, which Rollins accepted. This bout took place on June 5, and Rollins lost to Rhodes for the third time. ## Cody has managed to maintain his connection with the audience and remains popular. Therefore, a match between Cody and Seth Rollins would be a highly anticipated event. ## #3. Women's World Championship Match: Rhea Ripley vs. Becky Lynch ## Becky Lynch is the top choice as an opponent for Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 40. The idea has always been under consideration but has been on hold for various reasons. This would be a significant match because it's been a long time since their last encounter, and Ripley has grown into a bigger star since then. ## Lynch has recently concluded a feud with Trish Stratus, so now it seems like a good time for her to set her sights on Ripley's championship at the event. ## #4. WWE Intercontinental Championship Title Match: Brock Lesnar vs. Gunther(c) ## Gunther has always dreamed of facing Brock Lesnar, and it seems that their match is finally set for the biggest event of the year. There were rumors that this match might have happened at WrestleMania 39, but it got canceled, and instead, Brock Lesnar faced Omos. ## Since winning the Intercontinental Title, Gunther has risen to become one of the top stars on the WWE roster. Brock Lesnar is currently not wrestling after losing to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam, but he is confirmed for WrestleMania 40. ## A match between them could steal the show at the Grandest Stage of them All. ## #5. Randy Orton vs. Drew McIntyre ## Randy Orton has returned to the WWE Performance Center. There were rumors about his comeback earlier, but in early August, he was not yet cleared for in-ring training. In May 2022, Orton injured his back and had to undergo fusion surgery. ## Now that Orton is back at the WWE Performance Center, there's a possibility that WWE might arrange a match between him and Drew McIntyre. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

Predicting Top 3 Things To Happen On 9/25 WWE Raw

Here are the three key events I think should occur during this week's Monday Night Raw on September 25, 2023, happening live at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, CA. ## This week's episode already boasts an impressive lineup with prominent wrestlers like Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Drew McIntyre, and others set to participate. Firstly, the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles will be up for grabs, with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn defending their titles against The Judgment Day. Additionally, Dragon Lee will make his debut and face Dominik Mysterio for the NXT North American Title. ## The show will also feature intense confrontations, including Shinsuke Nakamura responding to Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes opening the event, Drew McIntyre appearing on "MizTV," Tommaso Ciampa taking on Ludwig Kaiser, and Otis facing off against Bronson Reed. ## Below check out the top 3 things that must happen on the show: ## #1. Tiffany Stratton To Be On The Show ## It's possible that WWE has plans for Tiffany Stratton's appearance on this week's Monday Night Raw. Tiffany, the former NXT Women's Champion, is currently in a heated rivalry with Becky Lynch.## According to PW Insider, there's a good chance we'll see Tiffany on the red brand. This could be part of a storyline leading up to their title clash at No Mercy. ## #2. Shinsuke Nakamura accepts Seth Rollins' challenge...Is Ricochet getting involved? ## During an upcoming segment, Shinsuke Nakamura will respond to Seth Rollins' match invitation. Nakamura will pick the date, time, and place for their showdown. ## However, there's a hurdle for Nakamura to overcome. Both Nakamura and Ricochet clashed in a singles match that ended abruptly when Nakamura delivered a steel chair shot to Ricochet's back, resulting in Nakamura winning by disqualification. ## So, it seems Ricochet may not be finished with Nakamura. He could emerge to challenge Nakamura for another match, or he might even be added to the WWE Heavyweight Championship match, which is yet to be confirmed. ## #3. Cody Rhodes To Cost Dominik His Title Against Dragon Lee ## There's a slim chance, but I think it's a compelling one: Cody Rhodes might be in Dragon Lee's corner to assist him in winning the NXT North American Title. Cody has been actively facing off against The Judgement Day lately. In the previous week's Raw, Cody Rhodes stepped in to help Jey Uso against The Judgement Day when Drew McIntyre declined to lend a hand. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

Rick Boogs Calls WWE Release A Backstage Political Powerplay

Franklin, 24 September - Rick Boogs was among the wrestlers whose contracts were terminated on September 21, 2023. It may not have been a shocking release, but it's worth noting. ## Boogs first appeared in WWE on October 19, 2017, during an episode of NXT Live, where he faced Lars Sullivan in a singles match. He made his in-ring debut on the August 20 episode of SmackDown and quickly gained popularity for his role in accompanying Shinsuke Nakamura to the ring with an electric guitar. ## Boogs' most recent WWE appearance was at WWE SummerSlam 2023, where he participated in the Slim Jim Battle Royal. However, on September 21, 2023, he, along with several other WWE superstars, was let go from his WWE contract. ## Following his release, Boogs turned to his YouTube channel to address the situation. ## "It's been an interesting time in my life with my job in WWE being terminated due to a backstage political powerplay, at least that's my opinion of it, but now is not the time to talk about that. I will get into detail about that when the time is right," he said. "It's not time, but when I do and can speak freely, it's going to be juicy. I'm talking about all the nitty gritty details." ## Transcription Via Fightful ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

WWE Seemingly Reveals Plan For Cody Rhodes' Next Opponent At WWE Live Event

Marietta, 24 September - This past Saturday night in Palm Desert, CA, WWE hosted another live event where Rhodes got into it with a new WWE star, possibly setting up his next opponent. Rhodes made his long-awaited return to WWE at WrestleMania 38 on April 2, where he surprised everyone by facing off against Rollins. ## However, Rhodes's return was cut short due to a real pectoral muscle injury, which kept him out of action for nine months. Last year, he came back at the Royal Rumble, participating in the men's Royal Rumble match. ## Since his return, Rhodes has been positioned as the top guy in the company, having feuds with Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title and facing off against Brock Lesnar in a big showdown at SummerSlam. ## Now, it seems like his next rivalry has been revealed. It might not be one of the top feuds, but it's a matchup with a star from the Raw roster, which could be an interesting move by WWE. During this week's WWE live event in Palm Desert, CA, Rhodes found himself under attack by Omos. This happened when Rhodes agreed to appear on MVP's Lounge segment alongside MVP and Omos. ## On the same night, Rhodes managed to defeat NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio in a non-title match. However, Omos and MVP got involved in the match and caused some interference. Rhodes is also scheduled to kick off this week's Monday Night Raw, so we'll have to wait and see what unfolds next. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...
