Here are the full results for The 2022 Extreme Rules which is set to be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, marking the first Extreme Rules event to be held in October and on a Saturday. ##
Check Out The Top 5 predicted Matches for the event. ##
1. Singles Match: Karrion Kross Vs. Drew McIntyre ##
The return of Karrion Kross, coupled with his insertion into the rivalry between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre on Friday night's episode of SmackDown, reportedly could be a vehicle for WWE to split up its world championships once again. ##
Recently Fightful Select reported that there has been at least one creative pitch within WWE that would see Kross challenge Reigns for only one of the two titles he currently holds. ##
Kross, who was released by WWE in November 2021, despite a major run in NXT that saw him hold the NXT Championship twice, appeared alongside Scarlett on Friday's closing segment of SmackDown. ##
The 37-year-old veteran ruthlessly attacked McIntyre, who was about to face Reigns. Scarlett then leaves an hourglass in the ring, indicating that Cross intends to take at least one championship from Reigns in the near future. ##
2. Singles Match: Dexter Lumis Vs. The Miz ##
On the WWE RAW after Clash at the Castle, The Miz faced Bobby Lashley in the main event with the United States Championship on the line. Dexter Lumis, who came out from under the ring, interfered during the match, which helped Lashley retain his title. ##
On The September 5th edition of Monday Night Raw, Bobby Lashey once again took on The Miz in a Steel Cage Match. As Miz was climbing down the cage, Lumis appeared under the ring, leading to Lashley delivering a brutal Spear that finished off The Miz. ##
After the match, Dexter Lumis made his way into the cage, locking The Awesome One in an Arm Triangle and sending The A-Lister to sleep. ##
3. Johnny Gargano vs. Austin Theory ##
It's only been a few weeks since Johnny Gargano returned to WWE, but it's already clear who will be his first opponent. Austin Theory was his elusive son in NXT when he was part of The Way, but now those days are gone. ##
Theory has developed into a cocky jerk, while Gargano overtakes his need to parent the others in the locker room. Now, they seem destined for a showdown. ##
They may have a match before the PPV, but it looks like the best location for this fight will be Extreme Rules. Give them 15 minutes and they'll put on an athletic performance that will rival anything else in the night. ##
4. WWE Raw Women's Title Match: Bayley vs. Bianca Belair ##
This is one of the few matches on this list that sounds like a lock. Since Bayley returned to SummerSlam, she has been chasing Bianca Belair. ##
It's a feud that had to be put on hold when the former women's champion got injured last year, but now that she's back, she's making up for lost time. ##
5. WWE Undisputed Tag Team Titles Match: The Usos Vs. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens ##
This might be more of a hope than a prediction, but it feels like WWE is building toward Sami Zayn turning on The Bloodline and joining Kevin Owens to dethrone The Usos as the tag team champions. ##
