AEW Dynamite airs every Wednesday at 8 pm ET on TBS in the United States. In Canada, AEW Dynamite is available through the TSN website. In India, AEW Dynamite airs on Eurosport every Thursday at 5:30 AM IST. ##
The show is available on the TSN Direct streaming service at 10 pm Eastern, the same time that the show will air live on TNT and FITE TV. ##
AEW Dynamite Results October 4, 2023: Highlights ##
The show begins with Renee Paquette making her entrance backstage alongside Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega. Jericho reflects on how they used to be opponents but are now teaming up. As they chat, Adam Copeland makes a dramatic entrance, eliciting a thunderous reaction from the crowd as the camera swiftly shifts to capture the moment. ##
Copeland expresses his desire to remain involved in upcoming anniversaries, including the eighth, twelfth, and twentieth. He proceeds to warmly shake hands with Jericho and Omega, offering words of encouragement for their upcoming match against the Don Callis Family. ##
AEW International Championship: Rey Fenix (c) vs. Nick Jackson##
The show kicks off with Fenix executing a takedown, causing Rey to roll to the apron due to his ailing back. Alex Abrahantes and Penta el Zero M rush to check on him. Nick retaliates with a double-ax handle and attempts a sunset flip, but Fenix counters it beautifully with a Springboard arm drag.##
Following this, Nick delivers a lungblower and sends Fenix to the floor. After the commercial break, Nick Jackson locks in a Superkick, but Rey counters with a swift roundhouse kick, resulting in both men hitting the mat. ##
Nick appears to have injured his leg, and Rey seizes the opportunity, attempting a rolling thunder. However, Nick thwarts his move and goes for an Ace Crusher. Nick then endeavors a slingshot piledriver, but Fenix manages to kick out. ##
Rey hoists Nick up onto his shoulder and executes a thrilling Avalanche Ace Crusher. Rey follows this up with a flip piledriver, setting it up after a Frankensteiner. Amidst the chaos between these two stars, there's still no successful pin in the match. Both competitors exchange pinning attempts, and in the end, it's Rey Fenix who secures the roll-up victory. ##

Singles Match: Griff Garrison vs. Wardlow ##
The match commences with Wardlow launching a relentless assault on Garrison. Wardlow delivers numerous punishing kicks to Garrison, ultimately forcing the referee to stop the match. Wardlow emerges victorious via referee stoppage after executing a devastating Powerbomb. ##

Backstage, Renee Paquette is joined by Don Callis and Konosuke. Callis discusses Sammy's pin on Jericho, and he shares that, following advice from Will Ospreay, he tapped into his connections and brought Kyle Fletcher on board to team up with Takeshita for tonight's match. ##
AEW World Trios Championship: the Acclaimed (c) vs. Butcher and the Blade & Kip Sabian ##
Before the bell even rings, both teams engage in a heated brawl. The match officially kicks off with Blade and Caster in the ring. Sabian executes an impressive Arabian press Asai moonsault. After the commercial break, Anthony Bowens delivers a powerful superkick to Kip Sabian, followed by a skillful suplex. ##
The Acclaimed combine forces to execute a devastating suplex on Kip Sabian, going for the cover and securing the victory. ##

Chris Jericho & Kenny Omega vs. Konosuke Takeshita & Kyle Fletcher ##
And here we go, the match begins with Chris Jericho facing off against Konosuke Takeshita. Jericho starts with a shoulder block and continues with more shoulder tackles. Jericho and Omega join forces, executing a double suplex. Jericho attempts a cover, but Takeshita manages to kick out. ##
After the break, Jericho takes control, dishing out a relentless beatdown. He surprises Kyle Fletcher with a Lionsault. Omega enters the fray, landing ax handles and attempting a fireman's carry on Kyle, but Kyle manages to escape and mounts an offensive. ##
Omega targets Kyle with a half-Nelson, and Kyle responds with a superkick to Jericho. Omega delivers some clubbing blows and executes a Dragon suplex on Fletcher. We head to a commercial break. ##
Returning from the break, Jericho connects with an enzuigiri. Omega follows up with a Powerbomb and a V-Trigger, but it still isn't enough for the victory. Jericho unleashes a Dragon Suplex on Takeshita, and Kenny complements this with a Codebreaker. They team up for an electric chair maneuver. ##
Omega with a One-Winged Angel for the win. ##

Skye Blue vs. Toni Storm ##
The bell rings, and the match commences with Toni delivering a boot to Blue. Toni maintains her offensive onslaught and sends Blue tumbling to the floor with a Running hip attack. We then head to a commercial break. ##
Upon returning from the break, Blue attempts a roll-up for a two-count, but it doesn't secure her the victory. Blue delivers some well-placed elbows, and Skye tries for a kick, but Toni expertly blocks it and ultimately falls victim to an enzuigiri. ##
Skye sets up for a back body drop, but Toni counters and lands a kick. Skye executes her first significant move, a crossbody, and goes for the cover, but Toni manages to kick out. ##
Toni responds with a spinebuster and attempts a cover, but it doesn't result in a victory. Blue executes her signature move for another cover, but Toni once again kicks out. Finally, Toni unleashes her finishing move, the Storm Zero, securing the win. ##
