Britt Baker is still the AEW World Champion. ## Kris Statlander returned from an eight-month injury layoff on the March 31 episode of Dynamite, and would subsequently go on a winning streak, eventually becoming the number one ranked competitor in the women's division. ## Due to this, AEW announced on August 25 that Statlander would challenge Britt Baker for the AEW Women's World Championship at All Out. ## At AEW All Out, Britt Baker successfully retained the title via submission. ## BOOP! Tony Khan: Not One Person Including Mr. Punk & Everyone On The Roster Has Creative Control

Punk is set to make his AEW in-ring debut on Sunday at All Out against Darby Allin. ## While peaking about Punk on a media call ahead of AEW All Out, Tony Khan said, he is excited to collaborate with CM Punk. ## "I don't really understand some of the things he was asked to do before he left wrestling," Khan said. "I don't think some of that stuff made sense. I've told him, if I ever ask you to do something that doesn't make sense, it's not coming from a malicious place, if something doesn't make sense, tell me and we'll talk about it." ## "That's generally how I am with everyone. If someone doesn't like something, I'm not trying to put stuff in that doesn't make sense. Not one person, including Mr. Punk and everyone on the roster, has creative control. It's not like WCW and that is one of the issues with WCW. When you have a person who has creative control in their contract, it can hold up the show. I don't know how you get through TV doing that." ## "I can't imagine if I had to deal with that. What I do have is a lot of people I want to sit down and talk to and hear what they want to say. Report: AEW All Out 2021 Main Event Match Changes

The July 28th, 2021 edition of AEW Dynamite came as a shock to wrestling fans, as The Elite defeated Adam Page and the Dark Order, now the point lands on the stipulation which was that if Page’s team lost, they would not receive future title opportunities. ## According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com Page will not be in the title match at the All Out PPV. Meltzer noted that at one point it was the plan but plans since have changed. ## With Page potentially being out of the contest, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan are expected as potential future challengers for Omega as well as Christian Cage and Eddie Kingston. ## As noted, CM Punk to AEW hasn't been confirmed, but he was certainly referenced on Wednesday's AEW Dynamite.
