NXT TakeOver 31 is set for Sunday, Oct. 4, The next edition of NXT TakeOver will take place on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 7 ET/4 PT from the NXT Arena at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.##
This will be the NXT TakeOver 31 as we have witnessed an historic NXT TakeOver XXX. WWE has already confirmed two big main event for the event. NXT Champion Finn Balor will put the title on the line against Kyle O'Reilly.##
Plush, NXT Women's Championship will also be defended. Io Shirai is all set to collide against Candice LeRae. Damian Priest(c) vs. Johnny Gargano [NXT North American Championship Match].##

Finn Balor(c) Vs. Kyle O'Reilly [NXT Championship Match]##
Kyle O'Reilly eliminated three of his four opponents including Bronson Reed, Cameron Grimes, Timothy Thatcher to become the number 1 challenger for the NXT against Finn Balor at NXT Takeover.##
On October 4, 2020, Kyle O'Reilly Vs. Finn Balor will up for the NXT Title match. Bronson Reed was the first to get the elimination over Kushida in Gauntlet Eliminator Match. Then Kyle O'Reilly eliminated Bronson Reed, then he got Timothy Thatcher to eliminate.##
At the last Kyle O'Reilly got to eliminate Cameron Grimes. After the match, Finn Balor stood on the top of the ramp as Kyle O'Reilly celebrated with the rest of the Undisputed Era.##

Io Shirai(c) Vs. Candice LeRae [NXT Women's Championship Match]##
WWE Announced Battle Royal To Determine Challenger For NXT Women's Title Against Shirai Io at NXT TakeOver Sunday.##
NXT General Manager William Regal announced that a Battle Royal will air on Wednesday night with the winner becoming the new #1 contender to Shirai.##
As announced, Blackheart, Kacy Catanzaro, Indi Hartwell, Aliyah, Dakota Kai, Candice LeRae, Rhea Ripley, Tegan Nox, Raquel Gonzalez, Kayden Carter, and Xia Li includes as the competitors.## Tegan Nox, pulled out of the match as Candice attacked her.##
Candice LeRae stood tall in the Battle Royal, apparently becoming the #1 contender to challenge Io Shirai For The title match.##
Winner: Io Shirai retains the title##
Damian Priest(c) vs. Johnny Gargano [NXT North American Championship Match]##
William Regal announced on social media that The Archer of Infamy will battle Johnny Wrestling for the title at NXT TakeOver 31 on Sunday, Oct. 4. Priest is fresh off his first successful title defense after a grueling victory over Timothy Thatcher. The first-time champion captured the title in a jaw-dropping NXT North American Title Ladder Match at NXT TakeOver XXX.##
During the match, Priest and Gargano found themselves atop the ladder. Gargano seemed destined for gold as he unhooked the title, but Priest held firm and knocked Johnny Wrestling from the ladder to secure the victory.##
Winner: Damian Priest retains the title##
Kushida vs. Velveteen Dream [Singles Match]##
The Velveteen Dream has given new affection for viciousness since his return. Along the way, he’s made an enemy of Kushida, prompting previously unseen aggression from NXT’s resident Time Splitter in turn.##
Kushida returned attacking Velveteen Dream weeks later and putting him on the NXT Injury Report thanks to a brutal rope-assisted cross armbreaker. He also showed an all-business attitude while defeating Austin Theory in short order.##

Santos Escobar vs. Isaiah “Swerve” Scott [NXT Cruiserweight Championship Match]##
Isaiah “Swerve” Scott is the one to defeat Santos Escobar since Escobar’s approaching NXT. This time it will be a match for the title supremacy. Legado del Fantasma defends the NXT Cruiserweight Championship against Isaiah “Swerve” Scott.##
Winner: Isaiah “Swerve” Scott and the new champion##
