He said nothing makes him feel as alive as being in the ring and he will never willfully stop wrestling. He said Daniel Garcia wants to end his career but his career will not end this Wednesday. Garcia came out and said that Danielson was his hero and he’s not afraid to admit it. He said it sounds like his hero is afraid to lose and is coming up with excuses. He said Bryan retires and comes back and has to stop putting Garcia through this. Bryan keeps hurting him and that makes him want to hurt Bryan. Bryan said he’s a wrestler and he’s tired of this “sports-entertainment bullsh**.” He said Garcia was one of the people he suggested when they created the Blackpool Combat Club. He was impressed by Garcia once wrestling for 60 minutes and now he’s listening to Jericho’s BS. He told Garcia that if Bryan really was his hero, did he want to be the best technical wrestler in the world or not – and he’ll leave that up to Garcia, and left the ring. ## * AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions Tay Conti & Sammy Guevara defeated Dante Martin & Skye Blue to retain the titles. ## * Parker Bordeaux with Slim J defeated Sonny Kiss in a short bout. ## * The Gunn Club defeated Erik Redbeard and Danhausen ## * Tony Schiavone interviewed FTW Champion Hook. He thanked everyone for feeling like he’s been at home since he came to AEW. He said he’ll face Jonathan Gresham for the ROH title this Saturday. He said the World title is the one thing that he been eluding him his entire career. He didn’t need a championship to believe he was the best. He knew he was the best because the fans support him and believe in him. He can see why Gresham believes he’s the best, but he’s never stepped in the ring with Claudio. There’s no one who can hold a candle to what he does inside the ring. He and everyone have waited a long time to see him win his World Championship. He can’t think of a better way to continue this new chapter than by winning the title this Saturday at the PPV. Gresham, Tully Blanchard and the rest of Blanchard Enterprises were standing elsewhere in the arena watching the promo. ## *Lee Moriarty pinned Dante Martin. Stokely Hathaway was watching from the stage. Lee grabbed the ropes to hold Martin down during a rollup. Matt Sydal wasn’t happy with Moriarty, who blew him off. ## *Dr. Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter defeated Skye Blue & Ashley D’Amboise when Britt used the Lockjaw on Ashley for the submission. ## *Rampage Rap Battle Judged by rap star Lil Scrappy – Max Caster vs. Austin Gunn.
