There is likely a push coming out for Raquel Rodriguez. ## During the May 13th edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Ronda Rousey issued an open challenge for the SmackDown women's title and Raquel Rodriguez has answered the call. ## The fans enjoyed Ronda Rousey vs Raquel Rodriguez -- they gave Raquel a lot in this match, they made her look dominant and powerful as well. I hope, there is a potential showdown between both superstars somewhere along the line and I would love to see Raquel defeat Ronda. ## Ronda won by rolling up Rodriguez but it was clear that WWE sees big things in Rodriguez because she was protected. They made sure to give Rodriguez a lot of offense with near falls and she was not booked to lose via tap out. Another Marquee Match Announced For IMPACT Slammiversary 2022

Another marquee match has been added to IMPACT Slammiversary 2022! ## On the May 12th edition of Impact Wrestling, it was revealed by Gail Kim that a 'Queen of the Mountain' match would be taking place at the June 19 event. This is the first time that this type of competition will feature knockouts, the last of which came in May 2016. ## The match will see Tasha defend the Knockouts Championship against Mia Yim, Chelsea Green, Jordynne Grace, and Deonna Purrazzo. ## IMPACT Slammiversary 2022 is set to take place on June 19, 2022 live from Nashville Fairgrounds in Nashville, TN. As of writing, there are only three matches on its card. Ace Austin's first challenger for IMPACT Slammiversary has been determined. ## At the June 19 event, Ace Austin will defend his X Division Championship in an Ultimate X match. On the May 12 episode of Impact Wrestling, Kenny King of Honor No More faced Bullet Club's Chris Bay for the first five available spots. ## After a tough fight, Kenny King was able to defeat Chris Bay and qualify for Ultimate X. The police is investigating A UK wrestling ‘death match’ event. ## According to BBC News, The show at the Conservative Club in Seaham, County Durham, on 29 April saw blood-soaked performers attack each other with a garden strimmer and glass. ## According to the report, The 35-year-old East Durham-based promoter claimed the match, between wrestlers Ronnie Thatcher and Blizzard, "escalated" and the use of weapons happened without his prior knowledge. ## A Durham Constabulary spokeswoman noted the following: ## “We are working with Durham County Council’s licensing team after a number of complaints were received by the local authority in relation to an event at Seaham Conservative Club on 29 April. Inquiries are ongoing.” ## The event wasn't everyone's cup of tea. An update has emerged regarding Roman Reigns' involvement at Hell In A Cell. ## Roman Reigns will not be involved in the upcoming WWE Hell In A Cell premium live event, according to Dave Meltzer on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio. ## Reigning Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns is open about working on a new phase of his career with a new schedule. Reportedly, he recently signed a new deal that will have work for less TV shows. ## Fightful first reported that Roman Reigns is likely to be accommodated and incentivized to keep WWE his priority after they've focused programming around him, as WWE doesn't see an end in sight with him factored in. ## As you can go and check out, the WWE website does not list Roman Reigns for any events in July or August 2022, except for the Money in the Bank (July 2) and SummerSlam (July 30) premium live events ## It was noted that WWE is expected to advertise them for TV tapings in the near future. New Match Announced For AEW Double Or Nothing Buy-In

Hook & Danhausen are set to team up against Tony Nese & Mark Sterling at AEW Double Or Nothing. ## On the May 11th edition of AEW Dynamite, Danhausen tried to "curse" Nese, but a distraction from Sterling allowed Nese to attack and hit the running corner knee for the win in about 20 seconds. ## After the match, Sterling poked Nese with the fact that he didn't get an entrance, and so Nese attacked Danhausen with repeated knees. ## HOOK's music played and he came out, sending Nese and Sterling retreating out of the ring. Danhausen offered a handshake to HOOK, and he accepted. ## AEW Double Or Nothing is set to take place during Memorial Day weekend on May 29, 2022, at the T-Mobile Arena on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada.
