AEW TNT Title Match Set For 3/9 AEW Dynamite, Paige VanZant Will Sign With AEW?

AEW TNT Title once again will be on the line next week on AEW Dynamite. ## Tony Khan announced on Twitter that he had offered the 7th spot in the Face of the Revolution match to 2021 winner Scorpio Sky but instead he just bartered with Dan Lambert: Scorpio Sky will now challenge Sammy Guevara for the TNT title. ## Khan negotiated with Dan Lambert and the decision was made to have Paige VanZant sign with AEW. As part of the agreement, Lambert says Paige VanZant will sign with AEW as AEW Revolution. Ricochet Becomes The New Intercontinental Champion On 3/4 WWE SmackDown

Despite having his Intercontinental Championship celebration interrupted, Sami Zayn savored his victory over Shinsuke Nakamura and kicked off his third title reign by promising to be a fighting champion. ## After Zayn dispatched the interfering Johnny Knoxville, Ricochet approached the new champion backstage, offering to take him up on his open challenge. ## Ricochet and Sami kicked off tonight's SmackDown with an Intercontinental Championship bout. This was Sami's first defense of the title since winning it from Shinsuke Nakamura just a few weeks ago. ## At the end of the match, Johnny Knoxville came out and distracted Sami. New Matches Announced For IMPACT Sacrifice 2022

Impact Wrestling has stacked the card for Saturday’s Sacrifice event. ## It was announced on last night’s go-home edition of Impact that Tasha Steelz will get another shot at Impact Knockouts World Champion Mickie James at Sacrifice. ## Impact has also announced Gisele Shaw vs. Lady Frost for Saturday’s Countdown To Sacrifice pre-show. During the show, Deonna Purrazzo was being interviewed backstage and talking about her Champ-Champ Open Challenge at Sacrifice when she was interrupted by newcomer Gisele Shaw. WWE is still to have a worthy opponent. ## "I want to offer you something. I know you love what we do and you're part of the team, big time. People in the organization really enjoy you. Fans all over the world really enjoy you being you. You can't find anyone, I can't imagine back in the day Bob Costas standing up on the desk and dancing. You're you and that's why it works. With that, I'd like to offer you an opportunity to actually wrestle at WrestleMania. In the ring. It would be different than when you play for the Colts. You were the punter. Now, in the ring, you're going to be a linebacker," said Vince. ## "There's been a lot of chatter on the internet about me getting back in the ring and wrestling at WrestleMania. I've had so many conflicted feelings because I'm out of shape. There's a lot of vitamins that go into these lungs. WrestleMania is the standard. I would love to," McAfee said. ## "We'll find a worthy opponent for you and put you in the ring. I don't bullshit. WWE's upcoming live event in MSG feels like a PPV event because of its lineup. ## Both The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns will be defending their respective titles at the event. Plush, Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair vs. Rhea Ripley for the Raw Women's Title and now WWE has added Finn Balor's first defense of the United States Championship. ## On February 28, Balor defeated Damian Priest on Raw to win the United States Championship for the first time in his career. This was also the first title victory for Balor on the main roster since capturing the Intercontinental Championship three years ago. ## After the match, Finn was attacked by Priest, who ended his nasty assault by sending Balor crashing through a table courtesy of the Razor's Edge.
