CM Punk shows off his interest to fight against Roman Reigns in WWE right now. CM Punk calls Roman Reigns' alliance with Paul Heyman, a hilariously interesting storyline currently going on in WWE which he spoke on the Oral Sessions with Renee Paquette.##
CM Punk commences with a Renee Young's question that asks, if he'd ever look in new japan pro wrestling, "I mean, that's a I don't know why I didn't even think of that...I mean, I think there's there's this huge part of me that never wanted, my goal wasn't to be a WWE Superstar. You know what I mean? I was content with wrestling in Japan and the Japan was a lot different when I went over there.'##
"I got told by Hashimoto as he was paying me was you, you know, good worker too big for Cruiserweight...too small for Heavyweight and I was like [Okay], All right. That sucks. Thanks a lot...Thanks to whatever but yeah, things are different now and I do think there's guys in New Japan.'##
"I think Okada, but even saying that is just like I haven't really seen a lot of his stuff. I'm I apologize profusely. Oh kind of Saint, you know one of these days maybe I'll get around to it. Maybe I'm going to get on the treadmill and I watched each other stuff right now."##
"What about like a Zack Sabre Jr.?," Asks Renee Young.##
"Maybe but that's not a name that I would have said but a but it's possible again, Haven't seen a lot of his stuff, says CM Punck. "I know he does the holes in the back your piece of missions and stuff. But it is that I just sound like the old guy who doesn't know what's going on.'##
You know what I mean? Everyone else is going to have to tweak the bulk of Us come up with better ideas. You know that that I got right now, but I you know, I didn't say like I said, I look at the Roman thing and I know he's talked about me. It was fine. hilariously interesting. I'll dump him on his head, too...##
"Yeah, I mean, other than that, I know I know Drew McIntyre is doing really really well, but there's nothing spicy there to me. I don't know maybe not don't yell at me internet everyone on the internet."##
As noted, unhappiness Punk had with WWE were his failure to main event a WrestleMania, being paid less than the other wrestlers in the three biggest matches of WrestleMania 29, doing favors for Vince McMahon and not being owed back, being "creatively stifled" and feeling that there were no long-term plans for wrestlers other than John Cena as well as receiving less pay and not getting answers as to how the advent of the WWE Network would affect wrestlers' salaries.##
Lastly, Punk described having left with "zero passion" for wrestling and described himself at the time of the interview to be the happiest in many years.##
Less than one week later, while being interviewed on The Steve Austin Show on the WWE Network, Vince McMahon apologized to Punk for the manner of his termination, which he regarded as a coincidence due to a lack of communication within the organization. McMahon said that he was open to working with Punk again.##
In a second Art of Wrestling podcast, Punk rejected McMahon's apology as insincere and a "publicity stunt" as McMahon did not contact him directly to apologize and could have apologized earlier.##
