Chennai, April 7 - Veteran Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan and director S. Shankar reunited for the sequel to their vigilante action film Indian. Produced by Lyca Productions, Indian 2 has been a taking point ever since it was announced a long time back. ## The fans have been waiting for the film's release date and the makers recently greeted them by scheduling this much-awaited film in June 2024. While the makers haven't revealed the exact date yet, it is said that the film will be released either on June 13 or 14, during Bakrid weekend. ## The makers announced the June 2024 release with a new poster with the tagline "Corruption causes cancer to the nation, corruption kills". Kamal Haasan reprises his role as Senapathy, an ageing freedom fighter turned vigilante who fights against corruption, from the original movie released in 1996. ## Indian 2 will see Senapathy return to India from Hong Kong after learning about the ongoing corruption and injustice in the country through social media. The movie is now gearing up for its grand release across the globe in the next couple of months. ## Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD has been scheduled to release on May 9, 2024, however, general elections are happening around this date in Telugu states, so the makers are planning to postpone the release for a couple of weeks. ## According to the latest Telugu media reports, Kalki 2898 AD will now be hitting theatres on May 30, Thursday in multiple languages and the official announcement regarding the same is around the corner. Shooting Details For Ajay Devgn-Fronted 'De De Pyaar De 2' and 'Son of Sardar 2' Revealed

Mumbai, April 2 - Bollywood star Ajay Devgn is one of the busiest actors in the country. He is currently basking on the success of Shaitaan, and at the same time, gearing up for the release of the long-awaited sports biopic Maidaan, scheduled for April 10.## Apart from the upcoming release, Ajay Devgn is in the process of spearheading his next films. The actor is currently shooting for Singham Again and Raid 2, both scheduled to release in theatres in the second half of 2024. ## Now, according to the report by Pinkvilla, AD is all set to start shooting for two much-awaited films, De De Pyaar De 2, and Son of Sardar 2, in June this year in London. "Ajay will wrap up shooting for Singham Again and Raid 2 by the end of May. He will be off to London in June to commence work on De De Pyaar De 2 followed by Son of Sardar 2", the reports state. ## De De Pyaar De 2, which will be directed by debutante Anushul Sharma, will have a 15-day schedule in London, and after calling a wrap on the first schedule of DDPD2, Ajay Devgn will move on to Son of Sardar 2. The director of SOS 2 is not revealed yet but it is said that an acclaimed director known for comedies in the Punjabi Film Industry has been roped in for the same. ## Ajay Devgn is currently working on 8 franchise films. The Yash Raj Films production, directed by Siddharth Anand, grossed around 1050 crores worldwide and was one of the biggest Indian grossers of 2023. ## The mighty box office performance of Pathaan had almost confirmed nothing but an inevitable sequel. It was recently reported that YRF has started working on Pathaan 2 with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone returning to reprise their roles from the first movie. ## According to the latest report by Peepingmoon.com, the shoot of Pathaan 2 will commence by the end of 2024, however, director Siddharth Anand won't be helming the upcoming movie. The shoot of the film commenced in October last year and now, the makers have announced its wrap. ## Produced by Bhushan Kumar Krishan Kumar Vipul D Shah Ashwin Varde and Rajesh Bahl and co-produced by Shashi Sinha and Ajay Rai, Khel Khel Mein also features Taapsee Pannu as the female lead as she reunite with Akshay Kumar after Mission Mangal (2019). ## Apart from Akshay and Taapsee, the makers have revealed rest of the cast. Actress Vaani Kapoor reunites with Akshay after Bell Bottom (2021), and the film also has Ammy Virk Aditya Seal Pragya Jaiswal and Fardeen Khan, in prominent roles. ## Khel Khel Mein was shot in London and Udaipur. The movie is about a story of friends who meet each other after a long time and end up in hilarious chaos.
