Hyderabad, April 8 - Superstar Allu Arjun's cult classic Arya 2 was re-released on April 5 to celebrate the actor's birthday, which is on April 8. The movie was directed by Sukumar, with whom the Icon star has done 4 films, including the all-time blockbuster Pushpa 2 - The Rule. ## The re-release of Aarya 2 is like most of the Telugu re-releases, which are mostly for the celebrations and charitable purposes, hence they attract a decent number of audiences to theatres for a couple of days which generates good business. ## On the first day of re-release, Arya 2 scored around 4 crore gross collection at the worldwide box office, and in the next 2 days, it brought around 1.25 crores gross for 5.25 crores in 3 days, which is a fantastic collection for a momentary release title.## Arya 2 was a box office success in its original run and went on to become a cult classic due to its immense popularity on television.
