Mumbai, March 24 - The hugely-anticipated trailer of superstar Salman Khan's action drama Sikandar was launched on March 23 and it received a blockbuster response across social media platforms with one of the highest viewership for an Indian movie of the year. ## The trailer of Sikandar has been trending at number 1 on YouTube in the first 24 hours, it generated 48+ million views on the platform. Overall, the trailer scored 81+ million views in the first full day across all social media platforms, according to the makers. ## Apart from the huge viewership, the response to the trailer is largely positive which has almost confirmed the massive opening at the box office. Mumbai, March 23 - The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has concluded its investigation and has filed the closure report into the mysterious death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, according to PTI. The report was submitted to a special court in Mumbai, which will now decide whether to accept it or order further investigation. ## Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai, on June 14, 2020, at the age of 34. The CBI has determined that the actor's death was a case of suicide, with no evidence of foul play or criminal conspiracy. The CBI took over the case in August 2020 from the Bihar Police after the Supreme Court ordered it to conduct a thorough probe since there were conflicting reports of the Patna and Mumbai Police.## Subsequently, Sushant's father KK Singh lodged an FIR with the Patna Police in Bihar accusing actor Rhea Chakraborty and others of abetting his son's suicide. A counter-complaint by Chakraborty against Rajput's family was also investigated. The closure report addresses both cases, finding no substantiation for the allegations made by either party. Forensic experts from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) supported the CBI's conclusion.## The investigation involved recording statements from Chakraborty and others close to Rajput, as well as examining medical and forensic evidence, including a laptop, camera, and mobile phones. Despite extensive scrutiny, no evidence emerged to suggest anyone drove Rajput to suicide or that his death involved foul play. The report effectively clears Rhea Chakraborty, her family, and others named in the initial FIRs, ending a high-profile case that sparked widespread speculation and media attention.## The Mumbai Police had initially treated the death as a suicide, finding no signs of forced entry or a suicide note. However, the case gained significant traction after Rajput's family pursued legal action, leading to CBI involvement. While the closure report marks the agency's final stance, Rajput's family retains the option to file a protest petition if they disagree with the findings. YRF Confirms 'War 2' Release Date Amid Postponement Rumours

Mumbai, March 15 - Yash Raj Films has officially confirmed the release date of the highly-anticipated spy action thriller War 2 amid the rumours of its postponement. There were rumours that it might get postponed but the studio has put them to rest once and for all. ## Starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR, War 2 will hit the big screens on August 14, 2025, in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil languages. Interestingly, this is the first time YRF has announced the War 2 release date on its social media platforms. Earlier, the studio confirmed the same through media and trade. ## The film is directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra. The shoot of the movie has already been completed except for a song which has reportedly been delayed due to the leg injury of Hrithik Roshan. Makers Confirmed Early Morning Shows of Mohanlal's 'Empuraan'

Kochi, March 15 - Superstar Mohanlal's much-awaited Empuraan is hot in the market ahead of its worldwide release on March 27. Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, the action drama has been in the news lately for various reasons but all have been fixed now for a smooth release.## Empuraan is easily the biggest Malayalam film with huge hype around it, and considering that, the makers are treating the film in that way. On Sunday, it was announced that the first show of the film would start at 6 AM IST, becoming one of the rare Malayalam films to have an early morning start.## Produced by Aashirvad Cinemas, Empuraan is nearly 3 hours long so the early start will give it 5-6 shows on the first day and that should be enough for it to emerge as the biggest Malayalam opener. The movie also has the potential to work wonders in other versions if the makers manage to create hype at the last moment which needs to be seen. ## Empuraan is the second instalment in a planned trilogy and is a follow-up to the 2019 film Lucifer. Mumbai, March 14 - Legendary Amitabh Bachchan impressed one and all with his performance in director Nag Ashwin's epic Kalki 2898 AD which was released last year. The Bollywood veteran played the role of an immortal warrior Ashwatthama and his character will have a bigger impact in Kalki 2. ## There have been many reports regarding the shooting timeline of the Kalki 2898 AD sequel and according to the latest report by Mid-Day, Big B is set to start filming for the movie in May this year. It will have a month-long schedule and he will rejoin the filming with other actors later.## Kalki 2 will mainly focus on the conflict between Prabhas' Bhairava, Big B's Ashwatthama and Kamal Haasan's supreme Yaskin. Per the report, Bachchan's screen time has been increased in the sequel.## Big B will reportedly start preparation for his role by the end of this month (March). "The sequel will take forward his and Bhairava/Karna's (Prabhas) story, and their role in rescuing Sumathi's (Deepika Padukone) unborn child. It will be grander than the last one, as Prabhas and Bachchan also confront the evil Supreme Commander, Yaskin (Kamal Haasan).
