Hyderabad, September 11 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR's much-awaited action drama Devara: Part 1 is gearing up for the Pan India release on September 27. The trailer of the movie was launched on September 10 during an event in Mumbai and it received good reception. ## The trailer of Devara scored 55+ million across social media platforms in the first 24 hours, according to the makers. On YouTube, the Telugu trailer of the film generated 10.40 million views, followed by the Hindi trailer with over 3 million. ## While the overall response to the trailer is good, it is particularly underwhelming in Hindi which shows the lack of awareness among the audience. It is Jr. NTR's first movie since blockbuster RRR (2022) so there are expectations from it. ## Devara is directed by Koratala Siva and produced by NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts. Mumbai, September 9 - Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor is doing the biggest film of his career in the form of director Nitesh Tiwari's epic Ramayana. The movie also stars superstar Yash along with Sai Pallavi, and Sunny Deol, among many others. ## It is known to everyone that Ranbir Kapoor is playing the role of Lord Ram, and now, according to the latest report by Peeping.com, the Brahmastra star will be donning a double role in the film. Apart from playing Lord Ram, Ranbir will also play Maharishi Parashuram. ## It is said that Ranbir's dual role aligns with the fact that both Ram and Parashuram are avatars of Lord Vishnu. The actor will reportedly have a completely distinct and unrecognizable look as Parashuram who holds a brief but significant importance in the epic.## The report also states that the legendary Amitabh Bachchan has also joined the ensemble cast of Ramayana. Big B will reportedly lend his voice to the divine bird Jatayu, who loses his wings and life during a confrontation with Ravana while attempting to rescue Goddess Sita during her abduction.## The 2-part epic is produced by Namit Malhotra's Prime Focus Studios in partnership with Yash's Monster Mind Creations with a budget of $100 million. It stars Ranbir as Lord Ram, alongside Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita, Yash as Lankesh, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Ravi Dubey as Laxman, Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, Rakul Preet Singh as Shurpanakha, and Arun Govil as Dashrath, among others. ## The shoot of Ramayana is currently going at a brisk pace and is expected to be wrapped by November this year. Ahead of the trailer launch on September 10, the film's pre-sales are already nearing $1 million in NA. ## According to Venky Box Office, Devara has sold approximately 26K tickets worth $778K for the USA premiere. The total North American pre-sales are approximately $830K with 18 days still left for the premiere which is on September 26. The advance sales are expected to jump further after the trailer release.## Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara is anticipated to score the biggest premiere for an Indian movie in North America. Currently, Prabhas-fronted Kalki 2898 AD has the highest premiere day with $3.5 million and the current trend indicates Devara has a chance to beat this figure. ## Jr. NTR's popularity is at an all-time high post the mega-blockbuster success of RRR which scored $3.3 gross collection in North America premiere in March 2022, and it went on to gross over $15 million there.
