Confirmed Match Card
Singles Match: CM Punk Vs. MJF
The much-awaited match between CM Punk and MJF is finally scheduled to be inside the squared circle. Next week’s Dynamite will see the two men go head-to-head in the main event of the show for the very first time.
It's been months since they both started trading insults back and forth on AEW Dynamite. Punk and MJF continued their verbal exchange on tonight’s show.
During the promo, Punk demanded the match, but instead...MJF brought out FTR and Wardlow, Punk was taken out from behind by Spears. They all beat Punk down and Spears whacked him with the chair. Wardlow didn't get involved until MJF demanded the powerbomb Punk.
Wardlow did so onto the chair, and MJF sat on top of Punk and said he'd see him in Chicago. MJF claimed that he would defeat him in “the dumpster fire” that is Punk’s hometown.
Winner Prediction: CM Punk
House of Black (Malakai Black & Brody King) Vs. Death Triangle (PAC & Penta El Zero M)
On the January 26th edition of AEW Dynamite, Malakai Black cut a video promo. He said Brody King was the embodiment of conflict and violence. King said PAC would be humbled, and that Death Triangle would feel true pain. "Just like death, we are inevitable."
Winner Prediction: Malakai Black & Brody King
Singles Match: Brian Kendrick Vs. Jon Moxley
Last week, PWInsider reported that Brian Kendrick asked out of his WWE contract back in December, but had not been informed of said release. Fighful. Select has since confirmed that Brian Kendrick is no longer under contract to WWE.
Another source indicated that Kendrick was expected to be at the AEW Dynamite show in Chicago on Wednesday. Since then, AEW announced he'd be wrestling Jon Moxley.
