Here are the full results for this Wednesday's AEW Dynamite Episode which is slated to air live on March 20, 2024, at the Coca Cola Coliseum in Toronto, ON.

AEW Dynamite airs every Wednesday at 8 pm ET on TBS in the United States. In Canada, AEW Dynamite is available through the TSN website. In India, AEW Dynamite airs on Eurosport every Thursday at 6:30 AM IST.



The show is available on the TSN Direct streaming service at 10 pm Eastern, the same time that the show will air live on TNT and FITE TV.

AEW Dynamite Results March 20, 2024: Highlights



The crowd in Toronto roared with excitement as Tony Schiavone introduced Mercedes Moné, who looked every bit the formidable competitor in a dazzling white fur coat. Mone' addressed the audience, acknowledging a near-defeat last year at the hands of Willow Nightingale.



A video package highlighting Moné's accomplishments flickered across the screen, only to be interrupted by a sudden blackout. When the lights returned, pandemonium erupted as Skye Blue and Julia Hart launched a surprise attack on Moné. The tide quickly turned against the challengers, leaving them clutching chairs in desperation.

Just as Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander rushed to Moné's aid, the arena plunged into darkness once more. Upon regaining vision, the two wrestlers had vanished, leaving a bewildered Willow brandishing a chair and Moné opting for a strategic retreat.

Meanwhile, backstage, a confident duo – the Young Bucks – alongside Kazuchika Okada, assured Alex Marvez of Okada's imminent victory in his pursuit of the AEW Continental Title tonight.



AEW Continental Championship: Eddie Kingston vs. Kazuchika Okada

The match kicks off with a clean break after Kingston lands a series of slaps and a roundhouse kick. Kingston dominates early with chops and a powerful forearm, forcing Okada to retreat momentarily. However, Okada retaliates with an axehandle and secures a side headlock. The wrestlers then engage in a thrilling exchange of shoulder tackles, with Kingston gaining the upper hand. Outside the ring, Okada seizes an opportunity and delivers a devastating DDT.

Back in the ring, Okada displays his technical prowess with a Rude Awakening followed by a boot to the chest. He transitions smoothly into a straightjacket hold, maintaining control. A knee strike, a snapmare, and a running kick by Okada keep Kingston on the defensive as we head for commercials.

After the break, Okada continues his offensive onslaught. However, Kingston doesn't back down. He counters with vigorous chops, blocks a hip toss attempt, and counters with a ferocious suplex. Kingston follows up with a clothesline and a barrage of chops, showcasing his unwavering fighting spirit. He displays his technical prowess with a German suplex and a sliding elbow that nearly dethrones the challenger, earning a near-fall.

Kingston refuses to yield, unleashing kicks and a thunderous chop. But Okada won't be denied. He retaliates with a dropkick and a knee strike to the neck. Although he misses a flying attack from the top rope, Kingston remains a threat, landing a backfist for a two-count.

The closing moments are a display of resilience and desperation. Both wrestlers trade elbows, with a massive chop sending Okada reeling. Kingston blocks a potentially match-ending lariat before launching a series of kicks and a clothesline. In a desperate attempt to gain an edge, Kingston pulls down the straps, but Okada counters with a ruthless eye gouge.

Kingston retaliates with an enziguiri, narrowly missing a finishing blow. He attempts a backfist, but Okada counters with a devastating shoulderbreaker. Seizing the opportunity, Okada unleashes his signature Rainmaker lariat, sending Kingston crashing down for the pinfall victory.

WINNER: Kazuchika Okada

Meanwhile, Renee Paquette catches up with Swerve Strickland. Swerve throws verbal punches, accusing the champion, Samoa Joe, of being afraid to face him. He demands an open challenge for tonight, eager to prove his mettle.

Renee then shifts her focus to Willow Nightingale, Kris Statlander, and Stokely Hathaway. The trio form a united front, vowing to crush Julia Hart and Skye Blue on Rampage. Suddenly, Mercedes Martinez strides into the scene. She offers Statlander a courteous greeting but blatantly disregards Willow.

Hook vs. Chris Jericho

The bell rings, and the two lock up, Hook explodes with a powerful suplex, sending Jericho reeling. He follows up with a barrage of sharp elbows and forearms, softening Jericho's defenses.

Hook connects with a thunderous T Bone Suplex, nearly putting Jericho away with a two-count. He throws Jericho into the turnbuckle with a sickening thud, but the veteran rallies. Jericho charges at Hook, but misses his mark and gets caught in a brutal German Suplex, Hook seamlessly transitions into a second, then a third German Suplex, establishing dominance as we head to commercial.

Back from the break, Jericho desperately tries to counter another German Suplex but gets caught in a submission attempt – the Walls of Jericho, He escapes the hold and lands a shoulder block, but Hook counters with a lightning-fast Northern Lights Suplex.

The fight intensifies, Jericho responds with a clothesline, then executes a picture-perfect Lionsault, coming within a hair's breadth of victory! He throws punches and chops at Hook, relentlessly wearing him down. He climbs to the top turnbuckle, but Hook anticipates the move and counters with a devastating Redrum attempt.

Jericho fights his way out and unleashes a flurry of punches. Hook, ever opportunistic, counters with a quick small package and scores the pinfall.

WINNER: HOOK

Toni Storm & Mariah May w/Luther vs. Deonna Purrazzo & Thunder Rosa

Rosa and Purrazzo with a synchronized takedown with a double leg sweep. May and Purrazzo are the current legal competitors. Purrazzo lands a DDT for a near fall (2 count). May responds with a dropkick. Storm enters the match, replacing May. Purrazzo counters with a double clothesline. Rosa tags in and connects with a running clothesline. Rosa throws uppercuts and transitions into a snap mare on May. She follows up with a lariat for another near fall. Storm capitalizes on a distraction from Luther to land a hip attack. We cut to commercial.

Following the break, Deonna connects with a running kick on May for another close call (2 count). May escapes an armbar attempt. Rosa tags in, seemingly against Deonna's wishes. Rosa hits a DVD on May. Toni counters with a German Suplex on Rosa. Storm attempts another hip attack but Rosa counters with a quick roll-up for the pinfall victory.

WINNER: Deonna Purrazzo & Thunder Rosa

Swerve Strickland vs. The Butcher

Swerve explodes with a headbutt, launching into a flurry of kicks against a cornered Butcher. He follows up with a running kick, keeping the pressure on. Swerve throws elbows with sharp precision, but Butcher retaliates with a powerful elbow of his own. Butcher takes control, executing a snap mare and a kick before transitioning into a brutal backbreaker.

He maintains the assault with elbows and chops, but Swerve rallies with a barrage of kicks. Strickland lands a right hand, but Butcher counters with a lariat. Swerve weathers the storm, leaping for a double stomp that sends Butcher reeling. Capitalizing on the momentum, Swerve transitions directly into a Swerve Stomp and cinches in a short arm scissor bar. The pain is evident, forcing Butcher to submit.

WINNER: Strickland

I Quit Match for the TNT Championship: Christian Cage vs Adam Copeland

Cage enters the ring alone, electrifying the Toronto crowd. He throws punches, but Copeland reverses a whip and forces Cage to flee outside. Copeland pursues with a baseball slide dropkick, sending the brawl into the audience. They fight through the crowd and end up in the penalty box. In a playful twist, Copeland throws a Boston Bruins jersey on Cage and dons a Maple Leafs jersey himself. They trade punches before the commercial break. Back from the break, a ladder is introduced, igniting chants of "TLC" from the Toronto faithful. Copeland attempts a daring maneuver, bridging the ladder at ringside. Cage counters with a back elbow, but Copeland responds with a Backstabber on the ladder. The action spills back into the ring, where Copeland executes a Gorden Special on the upside-down ladder. He maintains the offensive, sending Cage crashing into the ring post outside. Undeterred, Cage recovers and throws a table into the mix, setting it up against the barricade. He avoids a spear attempt and reverses it, driving Copeland into the ring post. Desperation sets in for Cage as he resorts to an eye poke, leaving Copeland bleeding. This tactic backfires as Cage attempts a crossbody but sends Copeland crashing through the table. Still, Copeland refuses to stay down. Back in the ring, Cage catapults Copeland into the ladder, showcasing his opponent's incredible resilience. Ascending the top turnbuckle, Cage attempts a Frog Splash but misses. Copeland capitalizes, locking in a crossface. Cage desperately counters with an eye gouge. Both men collide head-on as they attempt a simultaneous spear. We cut to commercial with the outcome hanging in the balance. Copeland gains the upper hand after the break, throwing Cage off the stage and slamming him into a hockey net. Just when Cage seems on the verge of defeat, Nick Wayne's mother intervenes with a surprise low blow. Cage capitalizes on the distraction, nailing Copeland with a hockey stick. He rains down repeated blows, even choking Copeland with the stick. Despite the brutality, Copeland refuses to submit. Cage retrieves two chairs, one wrapped in barbed wire, clearly planning a brutal maneuver. He sets up a Conchairto, but Copeland dodges it. A desperate Cage connects with a kick, but the momentum shifts when Copeland applies a crossface with the help of the hockey stick. He then uses a drawstring to choke Cage unconscious. Nick Wayne and Killswitch attempt to intervene, but are quickly dispatched by Nick Wayne's mother and the Jericho Appreciation Society. With the challengers incapacitated, Copeland delivers a devastating splash off the ladder to the floor. Garcia and Menard hand Copeland handcuffs, which are used to restrain Killswitch and Wayne. Another set of handcuffs restrains Cage, leaving him helpless.

Copeland introduces a foreign object - "Spike" - and delivers a low blow. With Cage weakened and demoralized, Copeland repeats the low blows before using "Spike" for a final decisive blow. Finally succumbing to the pain and brutality, Cage utters the dreaded words: "I quit."
