Here are the full results for this Wednesday's AEW Dynamite Episode which is slated to air live on December 27, 2023, at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, FL.
AEW Dynamite airs every Wednesday (Tuesday Special on October 10) at 8 pm ET on TBS in the United States. In Canada, AEW Dynamite is available through the TSN website. In India, AEW Dynamite airs on Eurosport every Thursday at 6:30 AM IST.
The show is available on the TSN Direct streaming service at 10 pm Eastern, the same time that the show will air live on TNT and FITE TV.
AEW Dynamite Results December 27, 2023: Highlights
Continental Classic Gold League Final: Jon Moxley vs. Swerve Strickland vs. Jay White
All three superstars are in the ring as the bell rings, initiating the start of the match. White attempts to follow up outside, but Swerve prevents him from rolling through. Meanwhile, Moxley executes a move, knocking White out of the ring. Moxley goes for a headbutt, but Swerve evades, and Moxley ends up hitting the ring. The action spills into the crowd.
Swerve goes for a running knee on Moxley and successfully connects. Chairs are set up, and White sends Moxley crashing into them. White then returns Swerve to the ring and continues his offensive onslaught. White attempts a Suplex into the corner and follows up with a cover, but he fails to secure the victory. Moxley re-enters the fray, only for White to slam him onto the apron.
Swerve attempts a dive after successfully getting White off the apron but misses this time. White prepares for a slam on Swerve on the apron, but this time, Swerve counters with a kick to the head. Swerve sets up clotheslines and successfully executes them. He then ascends to the top rope and delivers a crossbody on both White and Moxley.
Returning from the break, Swerve and White engage in a battle on the apron, and White ends up getting knocked down. Suddenly, out of nowhere, Moxley comes off with a dive on Swerve. Moxley follows up with a piledriver on Swerve and goes for the cover, but it doesn't result in a victory. This time, Moxley takes Swerve to the top rope, but Swerve attempts a dive and misses. Moxley catches him for a Paradigm Shift, securing a near fall.
White enters the fray with a steel chair, but Swerve retaliates with a House Call on White. Swerve then ascends to the top rope and hits a 450 splash for the cover. However, Moxley intervenes with a stomp, breaking the cover.
The intensity of the match escalates as all three men become embroiled in a brawl. White executes a suplex on Swerve, while Moxley applies a sleeper hold on White. Swerve, out of nowhere, delivers a House Call, creating chaos all around. White stuns Moxley with a Bladerunner and goes for the cover, but Swerve makes the save. White then attacks Moxley and Swerve with a steel chair. In the culmination, Moxley hits a Death Rider for the cover on White and secures the victory in the match.
WINNER: Jon Moxley
Tony Schiavone interviews Swerve, who expresses his desire and determination in the industry, highlighting that he didn't get pinned. He challenges Keith Lee, inviting him to find him at World’s End for a match. Renee introduces Mariah May, announcing her debut next week on Dynamite. Riho interrupts, leading to a scuffle with Toni Storm and Luther.
Top Flight discusses facing various trios, interrupted by Best Friends who plan to meet them on Friday. Christian Cage prepares for a sitdown interview.
During a segment in the ring, Don Callis unveils family paintings, but Sammy Guevara confronts him. Sammy criticizes Don for not reaching out during his concussion, leading to a confrontation. Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara are attacked by the Don Callis Family, but Sting and Darby Allin intervene, with Jericho wielding a baseball bat.
Renee interviews Roderick Strong, who asserts he's done research proving MJF is the devil and vows to expose him.
Continental Classic Blue League Final: Eddie Kingston vs. Bryan Danielson
The match kicks off with Kingston delivering a suplex to Bryan, who rolls out of the ring. Kingston follows with a suicide dive and chops Bryan multiple times. After a brief commercial break, Bryan attempts the Labell Lock, but Kingston reaches the ropes. The two trade strikes, with Kingston countering a Bryan dropkick and landing a clothesline followed by a Northern Lights bomb.
In the final moments, Kingston secures the win with a series of powerful moves, including a backfist, half-and-half suplex, and a decisive powerbomb.
WINNER: Eddie Kingston
In the ring, Moxley grabs the mic and demands a 100% effort from Eddie Kingston. He asserts that Kingston can't beat him and that he needs to earn the right to become Triple Crown Champion. Kingston takes the mic, declaring he'll give Moxley everything he has at World’s End and vows to bust him up.
Backstage, Christian Cage expresses frustration that Adam Copeland is late. During a commercial break, Copeland arrives and immediately attacks Nick Wayne and Christian Cage. Security intervenes, and the brawl spills into the hallway, forcing a locker room break-up.
Singles Match: Kris Statlander vs. Skye Blue
Kris Statlander faces Skye Blue in a match. Statlander showcases her strength with a bodyslam and a dropkick. Despite Skye's offense, including a knee to the face and a slam on the apron, Statlander fights back with a German suplex.
After a commercial break, Skye attempts a comeback with a thrust kick and a Code Blue, but Statlander kicks out. Kris counters with a powerbomb, and the match takes a turn when Julia Hart interferes. Skye takes advantage, delivering an avalanche Code Blue for the victory.
WINNER: Skye Blue
In the aftermath of the match, Julia hits Kris Statlander from behind with a clothesline, allowing Skye to lock in a submission hold. Willow Nightingale rushes to the ring and attacks Skye and Julia, who quickly retreat. Abadon's music hits, and she makes her entrance.
In an interview with Renee, Ruby Soho and Saraya discuss their partnership. Saraya introduces Harley, who seems devoted to her. However, the situation takes a dark turn when Harley takes out a knife, prompting Saraya to quickly remove her from the scene.
Following the intense moment, a commercial break ensues.
ROH World Tag Team Championship: MJF & Samoa Joe (c) vs. The Devil’s Masked Men
The Devil’s Masked Men enter the ring, but Samoa Joe is nowhere to be found due to an injury. MJF steps in for the match, attacking one of the masked men. As MJF tries to unmask his opponent, the other masked man intervenes, attacking him with a pipe from behind. The masked man secures the victory with a heatsinker.
WINNER: The Devil’s Masked Men
Post-match, The Masked Men attack MJF. Samoa Joe, appearing with a steel chair, aligns with The Devil, who appears on the titantron. The text reads "pleasure doing business with you." Joe assaults MJF with the chair, claiming responsibility for the attack, and finishes with a muscle buster on MJF.
