Here are the full results for this Wednesday's AEW Dynamite Episode which is slated to air live on January 17, 2024, at the North Charleston Coliseum in North Charleston, SC.
AEW Dynamite airs every Wednesday at 8 pm ET on TBS in the United States. In Canada, AEW Dynamite is available through the TSN website. In India, AEW Dynamite airs on Eurosport every Thursday at 6:30 AM IST.
The show is available on the TSN Direct streaming service at 10 pm Eastern, the same time that the show will air live on TNT and FITE TV.
AEW Dynamite Results January 17, 2024: Highlights
Christian Cage (AEW TNT Champion) w/Nick Wayne and Killswitch vs Dustin Rhodes
Cage starts aggressively, taking advantage of a kick to Rhodes. They brawl outside, with Rhodes slamming Cage into the announcer's table and steel steps. Back in the ring, Cage gains control with a top-rope move during a picture-in-picture segment.
Rhodes rallies, hitting a Natural Kick and a suplex from the top. Wayne and Killswitch interfere, but Rhodes fights back. Cage, using a turnbuckle distraction, secures the win with a second Killswitch.
WINNER: Christian Cage
Renee Paquette interviews Swerve Strickland, who dismisses the main event, emphasizing his focus on the title. He acknowledges Adam Page's skills but asserts that Page couldn't beat him.
Switching to Chris Jericho, he blames Don Callis for the tag team title loss and vows revenge. Matt Sydal interrupts, challenging Jericho for Rampage, and Jericho accepts.
Orange Cassidy and Trent Beretta w/Chuck Taylor vs Penta and Komander
Cassidy and Penta showcase their unique styles. Komander intervenes, diving onto Cassidy, but Trent turns the tide with a half and half suplex. After the break, Komander targets Trent, but Cassidy and Penta enter the fray. Cassidy and Trent combine for a beach break and Orange Punch, securing the victory with Trent's pin on Komander.

Roderick Strong and The Kingdom interrupt The Best Friends and Cassidy. Roddy accuses Cassidy of avoiding him and declines an immediate match, scheduling it for Revolution. In the backstage interview, Adam Page dismisses Swerve's focus, stating he only thinks about being the world champion.
A tribute for Jay Briscoe follows, and Mark Briscoe gives a heartfelt speech. The Young Bucks, now Nicholas and Matthew Jackson, discuss rumors and justify challenging Sting. They express a shift in their vision for AEW and denounce the old guard, including Sting, in a pure heel promo.
The Mogul Embassy (Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun, and Toa Leona) w/Prince Nana Ring of Honor World 6 Man Champions vs Bullet Club Gold (Jay White, Austin and Colton Gunn)
White and Leona kick off, but Leona dominates early. Kaun takes over, and the Acclaimed use quick tags to control Cage. Colton runs wild after a tag, but chaos ensues with everyone hitting finishing moves. In the distraction, Nana and Bowens get involved with a belt, but Jay secures the victory with a Blade Runner on Kaun.
WINNER: Bullet Club Gold
Singles Match: Deonna Purrazzo vs Anna Jay
Purrazzo and Anna start with technical exchanges. Purrazzo targets Anna's arm, but Anna counters with a neckbreaker. After the break, Purrazzo delivers clotheslines and a knee lift, transitioning into an arm bar. Anna attempts a comeback, but Purrazzo locks in the Venus De Milo for the win via submission.
WINNER: Deonna Purrazzo
Top Flight (Dante and Darius Martin) vs Private Party (Brother Zay" Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen)
Darius and Zay start with technical exchanges, leading to high-flying moves from Private Party. In the picture-in-picture, the action continues with Darius focusing on Zay's arm. After returning to full screen, Quen impressively counters with dives and a 450 splash. Private Party executes Gin and Juice, and Quen sneaks in a pin with the ropes for the victory.

AEW World Championship: Samoa Joe (c) vs. HOOK
Hook aggressively starts against Joe, but Joe dominates early on. They brawl outside, with Joe delivering a uranage on the announce table. Hook barely makes it back in at the nine-count. Joe continues the assault but Hook fights back, attempting Redrum. Joe counters, locks in the Coquina Clutch, and Hook passes out, giving Joe the win.
WINNER: Samoa Joe
After Hook's request for sudden death, Joe hits a muscle buster. Hook, determined, struggles to his feet and invites Joe for more. Adam Page enters the ring, and Swerve Strickland and Price Nana watch from the crowd. The crowd cheers for Swerve, and Page assists Hook as the show concludes.
