Coliseum, September 6 - Here are the full results for this Wednesday's AEW Dynamite Episode which is slated to air live on September 6, 2023, from the Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis, Indiana.
AEW Dynamite airs every Wednesday at 8 pm ET on TBS in the United States. In Canada, AEW Dynamite is available through the TSN website. In India, AEW Dynamite airs on Eurosport every Thursday at 5:30 AM IST.
The show is available on the TSN Direct streaming service at 10 pm Eastern, the same time that the show will air live on TNT and FITE TV.
AEW Dynamite Results September 6, 2023: Highlights
Jon Moxley (with Claudio Castagnoli) Vs AR Fox for the AEW International TitleThe match starts off as Moxley with some punches on Fox followed by chops. Fox rallied with a DDT and a moonsault, but Moxley countered with a kimura, anvil elbows, the King Kong lariat, and the Death Rider to retain his title. # Allin checked on Fox post-match. Cage and Luchasaurus offered Wayne mentorship after watching his father's matches last week, with Cage sending regards to Wayne's mother before leaving.

Kris Statlander vs Emi Sakura for the TBS Title
Sakura started strong with a Tiger Driver and a running crossbody that sent Statlander out of the ring. Sakura followed up with a charging crossbody into the ring steps. Back inside, they exchanged chops and lariats, leading to a collision. Statlander enticed Sakura to the apron and hit a slingshot elbow. They countered each other's moves, and Statlander won with Wednesday Night Fever.
WINNER: Kris Statlander
Le Sex Gods (Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara) vs Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis)
In the match, Davis and Jericho exchanged blows. Guevara tagged in for a double shoulder tackle and Le Sex Gods pose but got hit with Snake Eyes. After a chop exchange and a leapfrog combo, Jericho and Guevara executed a stalling vertical suplex before a break.
During the break, Davis and Fletcher controlled Guevara. Jericho made a hot tag, taking charge. Jericho survived a Code Breaker to Fletcher. Guevara's twisting tornillo took out Davis and Fletcher. Jericho accidentally hit Guevara with a slingshot dive but later caught Fletcher with a Judas Effect to win.

Samoe Joe and MJF Meet In The Ring
MJF was annoyed by Tony Khan's request for him to wrestle soon, but he realized it was for Grand Slam and sang "New York, New York." Samoa Joe interrupted and confronted MJF. Joe wanted to know MJF's problem, and MJF attempted to mock Joe's entrance music. He insulted Joe with various nicknames and recounted an altercation with William Regal during a WWE tryout when he was 19. MJF warned Joe to stay out of his way and threatened him.
MJF claimed to be the best but Joe called him a little bitch. MJF slapped Joe, who chose not to retaliate. Joe confidently stated he would win the title eliminator tournament.
As MJF tried to leave, Joe crotched him in the ropes. MJF fought back but was eventually flattened by Joe. Adam Cole saved MJF, and medical personnel attended to him. Joe warned MJF that next time, he'd rip MJF's arm off. Roderick Strong and The Kingdom criticized Adam Cole for prioritizing MJF over Strong's injury due to Joe. Cole left with MJF, and Strong prepared for his match.
Roderick Strong (w/Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) Vs Trent Beretta (w/Chuck Taylor) in a Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Quarterfinal
Strong initially dominated. Beretta fought back with a leaping Meteora and a chop exchange. Strong used his signature backbreaker. Beretta responded with a corner elbow and a Tornado DDT, sending Strong outside while clutching his neck. Taven briefly interfered, allowing Strong to surprise Beretta with a post and apron suplex before a commercial break.
Beretta countered with rolling Germans and a twisting Death Valley Driver, but Strong retaliated with a Death by Roderick and a Sick Kick. Beretta countered Strong's Strong Hold attempt with a frankensteiner and executed a half and half suplex. However, Strong reached the ropes during a piledriver attempt. In a crucial moment, Strong landed a jumping knee strike and followed up with the End of Heartache for a clean win.
