Revolution is built as one of AEW's "Big Four" PPVs, which also includes Double or Nothing, All Out, and Full Gear, their four biggest shows produced quarterly. During Full Gear's post-event media scrum on November 20, 2022, AEW announced that the fourth Revolution event would take place on March 5, 2023, at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California.

60-minute Iron man match for the AEW World Championship: MJF (c) vs. Bryan Danielson

This coming March will witness a huge clash when Bryan Danielson and MJF battle in a 60-minute Iron Man match for the AEW World Championship match at AEW Revolution.



MJF became the new AEW World Champion when he defeated Jon Moxley at Full Gear last year. Following his win, MJF indulged in a feud with Bryan Danielson who wanted a title match. MJF later assured that if Bryan wanted a title match against him at Revolution, Danielson would have to go through a series of singles matches with wins.

Bryan agreed on the condition that their match at the PPV will be a 60 Minute Iron Man match. Danielson officially stamped his ticket to Revolution and the Ironman Match against MJF when he defeated RUSH on the February 8th edition of AEW Dynamite.

So, it will be MJF vs. Bryan Danielson in a 60-minute Iron Man match for the AEW World Championship match.

AEW Revolution 2023 begins with the Buy-In show starting at 7:00 p.m. ET and the main show underway at 8 p.m. ET. The card is expected to last around four hours.
